I'd be interested to know if it was even able to be dynoed at that power level. If so, please let me know some specifics like what tire was used, what model dyno, was weight added to the back, etc. I recently accompanied a friend with a similar power level Camaro running an intercooled Vortech...
When putting the top back on my RT I drape towels over the sportcap in back and I actually put tape over the rear bolts to keep them from extending as I set the top down. After it's down I lift each side individually and pull the towels out and secure the front latches and the rear bolts.
I haven't had my recall work done yet as I've been hesitant to leave my car at a dealer. It's tough finding a place that will truely take as good a care of it as you/I do.
The thing is, I don't want the, IMO cheap looking, stick on cover up/additions. I'm looking for a full on molded replacement where I remove my stock pieces and install the carbon fiber coated ones, just like what is pictured.

Can you PM me with the cost difference. Also, did you go directly through Biff or someone else?

Are these the Pilot Sports or MXX3's?

Bill,
Unfortunately JonB's special is for 18" tires only. I have the '96 5-spoke 17's. Also, I've spoken with many people who have the OEM Pilot Sports and they can spin them through 2nd gear. However, a friend with the Khumo Ecsta V700 can do a 4000 RPM clutch dump in 1st and HOOK HARD! That's...

Nope, different type of carcass and tread design. I would keep in mind that these are mainly for track use or autocrossing, and they will have a limited life cycle with our Snake's torque...
Tony,
Thanks for the evaluation.
Anyone know if you can run the Khumo 712 Ecsta's up front and the stickier 700's in the rear? I've heard so much about not mixing tires, I'm curious if this combo from the same brand "family" would work.

Ya. There's a guy out here with one of those new V8 Lotus' who likes to drive extremely fast...
So when and how are we going to be able to order our 2003 calendars?
Thanks for putting this together again. Hopefully this year I'll be able to get one.

I'm tired of...
I believe the short answer is: There aren't any.
A friend has been trying to get the exact same thing for his '97 GTS and cannot find one. He bought an 2 gague a-pillar pod marketed for another car that was recommended to him and it wasn't even close. I believe the gagues were basically...
I hope DC revokes this guy's certificate and gives it to someone who truely wants the 2003. It's actions like these that justify the dealers' bitching about offering the car direct to "loyal" Viper owners.

One of the best things you can do is check it regularly before going out in the Viper. Maintain your car well.
This can be a serious problem.
If you would like some pictures of a case where the owner wasn't able to put out the fire, check this past post out...

Ya, I'm gonna wait for both yours and the other quick-top coming out. If they end up...
So how is everyone's paint looking behind the wheels after running the Khumos on all four corners?
My only reservation is that they are going to bead blast my paint.

Re: Where\'s my raffle ticket?
I haven't received my tickets yet either and I sent my order in weeks ago.
As long as I receive them before the drawing I guess it doesn't much matter.

Ya, it's just a '97 with the factory power windows and a Mopar top. Along with the smooth hood you can see the color matched steering wheel through the window.
