Re: Question for red 96\' RT/10 owners
I actually sold the car, but still have the wheels in storage. Unfortunately the center caps went with the car. Odd set of events. Regardless, I figure someday someone will be looking for a set to restore their 1 of 166 car.
I used Horseless Carraige. They're delivery time estimates sucked, but the car arrived in great shape amid Ferarris and other classic cars. They know how to treat your car, even if they don't know how to schedule.
Re: Planning on buying Edelbrock Headers for an \'01, anything I should know
The squished ends of the primaries is one of the biggest issues I've seen with the Edeldrock headers. It's something that plagues more than just their Viper headers too. I had them on my (and Fred's) RT/10 and I have...
I'd take it to Chris at The Works Auto Body in Santa Clara and see what they can do. Probably the only place I would trust to do paint/body work on my Viper. They do alot of work for the local Ferrari club members. I think they have a front bonnet from an F50 hanging in one of the shops.
Re: Stock 18
You have another set? What, are you stockpiling these?
Just a note, I bought a set of 18's with tires from Bat a few months ago. Great guy to deal with and the wheels and tires were exactly as stated. They look real nice on my GTS.
I have a Paxton/GSS pump that I took out of my Camaro. Worked great, but was loud and I didn't need that much pump since I stayed N/A. It's the same as the later model Aeromotive. PM if you are interested.
I know the club just had it's meeting at Santana Row Tuesday evening, but I wanted to let you know about a weekly gathering of exotics Saturday mornings. I cruised out last Saturday and was the only Viper out there. Lots of interest in the Viper and some of the Ferrari guys have asked if any...
Re: I have a DIY fix for hard starting (fuel pump check valve) Vipers; now
Cool idea. I think I had that issue with my previous '96 RT/10. I just did the key-on prime thing before starting and that fixed it. I'd add this box though if I still had it. My current '97 GTS has no problem starting...
Re: Something about John member 2002 Viper GTS ACR that\'s pretty funny
Took the words right out of my mouth. And for the whole VCA community to see. He sure is "The Man" now.
Smooth dash for '97, pebble finish for '98+. Window switches are slightly different for same as are door release bezels and handles. Shifter also changes later on.
I dunno. I sold my '96 RT/10 with BBS rims for just under $45K several months ago. Prices depend on alot of factors. It's not always cut and dry. I guess you have to ask yourself if it is worth $2,500 to deal with someone who has a stand-up reputation and will stand behind any car they sell. It...
Marv and Nathan are first class. The prices are reflective of the cars they choose to deal with - exceptional examples. They'll stand behind the cars they sell and I know they'll go the extra mile to ensure you are completely satisfied. I would have no hesitation purchasing from them.
