Yes any aero pkg on the coupe will lower top end speed because of the drag it creates.
Coupe No Aero 202MPH
Roadster/Vert no aero 198MPH
ACR 177MPH
Coupe with SRT aero ???MPH
Wallbanger, nice pic! :2tu: I will have this by spring! It looks better than I expected, and you have it in my color. Minus the strips of course!
Great job! :2tu::drive::2tu:
Welcome to the SSG Club. :2tu: The Viper Club! :2tu: The 600HP Club! :drive: and the I drive one of the Wildest American built Exotic Car Club! :headbang:
I made most of these up but I think they fit! :D
Congrats!
Just My opinion but I feel Exotic cars should have Exotic colors! Why buy a Great car with a color that just blends in with the everyday commuter!
BUt thats Just me! I do miss my Yellow 02 RT/10! But this SSG is a must see!
Thanks everyone! :2tu: Thank you Claude! :2tu: I could not find the info in the SRT Engineers chat forum. I read it some time ago but could not find anything on "TOP SPEED" or SPEED LOSS for the SRT aero pkg. Is there another SRT engineer chat coming soon??? I guess I could use the down force to...
Does anyone know the difference in top speed between the 08 ACR and the 08 SRT coupe with the new SRT not ACR aero pkg on it. I think the 08 ACR top speed is 177mph with 1000lbs of down force at 150mph. What is the down force of the SRT aero pkg at 150mph and the top speed of the SRT with the...
I know what you are saying! At the gas station they take your picture.:D At the store they take your picture.:D Driving down the highway camera phones out the windows.:D This 08 SSG coupe draws a "little" attention!;) Now come to think of it, in my 02 Yellow rt/10 this was happening too!:omg: So...
I spoke to Tony today at Watkins Glenn Race Track, NY. He said he has no knowledge that any outside driving clubs or group has any track time scheduled. North Track is members only. Weekends are members only North or South. He will check on this when he gets back to the Monticello Track, NY.
Tony F. is going to be in charge of operations at this track he is a great guy! He is the head instructor at the Trackmasters driving school at Watkins Glenn NY. Good Luck to Tony and everyone at the Monticello Motor Club. I hope I get a chance to drive this track soon. I heard it was going to...
I have done that (Punched it)a few times but then the back end drags!! :rolaugh: I am waiting for the wheelie bars to be installed. :drive::drive::drive: Then maybe lowering would be an option.
Yes the other wheels I have (Copperhead) do show a lot more Rotor! And yes I do take this Viper "off Road", but only because I go too fast in the corners :omg::omg: ! I scrape going in and out of my driveway now :crazy2: so lowering is not an everyday option I can make at this time. Thanks for...
I would like to get some more info also on the same topic. Average day temps in the low 80s. Ballpark starting pressure to end up at what hot lap temp??? I have run Sport cups and would not go above 36lbs or the tires get "slick" and dont hold the track, I start at 26lbs in the AM and let...
Hey Neal did you see the pictures I put up on forum. My Euroteck rotor install. They look great!! They are 11lbs lighter than stock rotors. I think I put the scale pictures up too!
Jeff
Yeah, those centers do get covered but I do like the heat dissapating capabilities the rotors have where they meet the "rotor hats". They do not have continus contact with the hats, which also gives them a nicer look up close and more air flow for cooling. I have yet to put them to the test! I...
Ok I am going to try to put some pic up for he first time. lets see how it goes!I do not see the pictures but I will try to post and look in the Thread to see how it came out. I still need one of the finished job. Old and new photos and weight differences in stock rotors and Euroteck rotors...
I just bought a 22ft Pace with a 54" escape door (side Door) it is 24" on center. weighs #3700lbs.
You can, and I have driven the Viper into an enclosed trailer held a towel out the door to protect it up against the inside of the trailer wall and opened it enough to squeese out the small...
Viper X, do you know the amount of down force this wing and splitter will give you? Is the wing adjustable? Looks like you put on some monster springs in the front. I would like to hear how this set up works for you. Especially with reguards to high speed braking and if the stopping distance is...
Ok I want to put my 2 cents in on this! All I know on this subject is that Torgue is what is needed to move a load. If your HP is not sufficient to move a specific load you can change the gearing to a lower gear ratio and move the load with out problem! Example 600 HP 08 Viper try to start out...
