Congrats Cody, I bought my first viper in October of 2011. It's hard to look at all winter, I made the fatal mistake of thinking I could get away taking from prince George to Vancouver in Feb. Changing tires is great suggestion. Poke around the forum, there is some good advise for new first time...

Dec Visit from Northern British Columbia Canada

Made the 6000km venture safely back, as I was backing up to unload the car into winter storage, my tie rod ends on my steering stabiliser decided to let go. I'm glad it happened in a parking lot and not on the hwy

it looks alot different in the google picture than it did a couple weeks ago. The car has Florida tags on it. And it appears to have been sitting in the exact same spot for a long time.

    Trip to Beverly Hills

I think in the future I'll try and reach out in advance when I travel. As far as traffic, compared to where I live it's freaking scary. Google earth shows the car in the lot as well.

Anyone ever use Dash Command in their Viper? Apple users?

I have the Kiwi 2 Wifi dongle and use Harrys Lap timer pro, and REV2 (DevToaster) similar to dash command. I have had weird happenings with plugging in and unplugging, car not wanting to start, communication code errors, etc. Ive learned to not panic but it does seam to play havoc at times. I...

    Trip to Beverly Hills

Just came back from 4 days in Beverly Hills. Surprised to see only a single Viper on this trip. Poor old guy has seen better days, sitting in a "weird for the surroundings" derelict kinda repair shop on South Robertson Blvd just off Wilshire Blvd. Looking forward to my trip in two weeks to...

Replcing factory seats with racing buckets

Big dude is an understatement!! What's it feel like to get hit in the forehead by bugs at 160 mph??? All kidding aside, I now sit a couple inches lower in the car. I chose to install without sliders(fixed position) to get down low to the floor boards as I could. Again thanks for everyone's kind...

Replcing factory seats with racing buckets

The stock seats are fricken heavy, haven't weighed them, but driving on a government road scale the car lost a min of 40 pounds. After market are 15 pounds and the brackets are about 10 pounds Not sure if I'm allowed to say who the supplier is as they are not a supporting vendor. They where...

Replcing factory seats with racing buckets

The car isn't caged at all. In the rear bulk head there are two access covers. Behind those covers are tapped holes for the shoulder harness eye bolts. The covers where then trimmed to finish off the install. Seats actually sit lower than stock, more space between top of seat and roof of the car...
