My 94 ZR-1 - 12.60 @ 116 mph
My 99 ACR - 12.14 @119
Both cars equipped with headers, 3" exhaust, no cats. ZR-1 had 4.10 gears and DRM chip.
Don't underestimate a ZR-1. They run exceptionally well and IMO are superior to the ZO6 (again IMO only).

Not to be confused with a "filthy little gutter-bug" (can't recall the author).
You guys come up with the greatest material!
I have a full Belanger header/exhaust system. I first went w/o cats, but the noise and odor were overwhelming. I then went to high flows which rob more power than most will suggest (IMO). I now about to go catless again. The O2 sims is a must (I have the Apex Snakebox) and I'm thinking the...
11 Corvettes in my past so lots of waving - I enjoy the expression of camaraderie. What few Vipers I've passed on the road, have likewise extended a gracious wave - but I'm usually first. I also ride a Harley-Davidson V-Rod and wave to everyone regardless of what their on - for me it's the...
Hi John:
I understand that 3/4" lower is optimal for the ACR setup for street and track use. As a four wheel alignment is required, going back to the higher ride-height is really not a practical routine option.
Hope all is well ..... joe

O2 wires carry/resist voltage. Cutting/lengthening the wire will trigger a CE light. I made this mistake and had to replace the sensor @ $100. I assume you're referring to the l/s sensor. Loosen the a/c compressor and reroute the wire from between the compressor and engine block and you'll...
I used the 2.5" but with the stock knob. I believe the 3.5" should be used with the MGW knob or the shifter will be too low. Ask George's (MGW) opinion!
You're right, on the surface it does seem trivial and nonsensical. However, for some inexplicable reason when someone writes to me and uses all upper case letters ...... I get pissed! It's like, I'm not an idiot. I can read and understand the meaning without someone shouting at me and...
Manufacturer's typically specify brake horsepower (bhp). This is determined by running a fully dressed engine (all accessories, belts, exhaust, etc.) on an engine brake (aka dynamometer) to establish horsepower and torque curves and of course peak power. Rear wheel horsepower is either...
I'm the guy that started the thread about an underhood fire that started because the p/s cap came off and landed on the header collector and ignited. The fire had nothing whatsoever to do with the Belanger headers which I have run for about 15,000 miles without heat shields and no problems of...

I took a friend's son out for a spirited birthday ride on Sunday. After ~ 5 minutes, I thought I smelled the clutch burning. Cut the ride short and returned to my friend's house. Re-joined the party when someone alerted me to smoke coming out from under the hood. Popped the hood and found...
