I need about 25 more RWHP. I can spend $1,000. Any suggestions?

Did the header/exhaust thing and removed the rain baffle from the airbox. I want a touch more on motor. Not interested in shorter gears (for SOTP feel), or an underdrive pulley (gotta keep the ladies cool), or nitrous, or, even if I willing to spend the money, turbocharging or supercharging...

    Removing AC

134A has an ODP (ozone depletion potential) that is just 2% of F-12. 134A is, therefore, much friendlier to the environment. 134A is nether flammable nor toxic, but as with most any gas can deplete oxygen in a confined space. One question I have concerns yield. Remove the a/c, lose 100 or so...

    How many Vipers have stripes?

This question has been covered in excruciating detail (see archives). IMO, there are only two kinds of Vipers - those that have stripes and those need stripes!

I bought the perfect two-wheeled stablemate for my ACR .... a Harley Davidson V-Rod.

.... and it's sitting in my garage right now. It's just totally outrageous to see a V-Rod parked next to a silver/black ACR. A completely awesome expression of brute american power and outrageous styling. I am a pretty lucky guy to have such wonderful toys! Take a look at the V-Rod if you...

Cats or, no Cats that is the question???

Search the archives then post follow up questions. 00's of posts on this topic. Sans headers and 3" exhaust, cats delete is a waste of time. Check out my threads on noise and odor. I added high flow cats after going catless for a while.

Which is faster on the road race course, ACR or GTS?

The driver with the most experience will generally win regardless of relatively minor differences in suspension. I'd like to say ACR hands-down but it just ain't so IMO.

Gave the RT/10 an interior facelift , no more fuzzy dash..

Did you use a flat (matte) non-reflective black. If so, can you provide specifics (i.e. manufacturer, part number, source, price, etc.)? The flat black dash in my car was replaced under warranty. The replacement reflects an absurd amount of glare which must be corrected. Thanks .....

    Cat removal??

The weird part is both Sean and I get the fumes at speed with the window(s) part way or fully open. No leaks for sure ..... weird aerodynamics! .... oh, and as far as being a lady? That brown residue that accumulates on the rear facia also accumulates inside one's lungs. Lady? No...

    Cat removal??

Install headers and high flow cats instead. Best sound, no fumes, no staining rear facia, etc. I did the no cats thing for a while. High flows are much better. With factory headers, I doubt you gain very much by simply removing the cats anyway.

Just installed high flow cats ......

Couldn't take the noise and odor any longer. Sound toned down nicely; odor effectively eliminated. Car runs well but frankly, I feel the cats robbed quite a bit more than 5-7 rwhp. I can really feel the difference and I doubt I would be able to detect 5-7 rwhp in the seat of my pants. Anyone...

    Header Fix?

OK here's the deal. I have a 99 with Belanger Headers and no cats. I endured a c/e light for some time before getting a handle on it. There were two sources. First, if the cats are removed the rear O2 sensors will trigger a c/e light. This was corrected in my car through the use of...
