Cats or, no Cats that is the question???

I have a 00 ACR, with the Mopar computer. My car dynod 415rwp 460rwt. The only mode is the rear resonator delete. If, I cut the cats and side sill muffler, and replace with bullet mufflers. Will I regret it? Will the Mopar computer stop the dreaded check engine light? Or, should I leave the cats and, go with a cat back??

Do you have any other mods? I thought the ck engine light only came on if you had Headers???

The check engine light comes on if you cut the cats right??? I would like a little more power, and less interior heat.

I have no cats in my 99 and to solve the check engine issue APEX sells 02 sims. The box works perfect and installs easily, its a bit pricy considering the same type of unit is avilable for vettes way cheaper.

My car came with the Mopar computer, And, I thought I heard somewhere it will eliminate a c/e light with no cats

Search the archives then post follow up questions. 00's of posts on this topic. Sans headers and 3" exhaust, cats delete is a waste of time. Check out my threads on noise and odor. I added high flow cats after going catless for a while.
