Strange Spark Plug Situation
Most likely you closed the gap yourself when installing the plug by bumping it against something. That plug looks a bit lean to me, what are your air/fuel numbers? The heat looks ok, 3-4 threads of heat is ideal.- Russ M

That is your problem, 55 psi should be idle pressure on a viper. Under load you should have at least +1 psi for every pound of boost from your supercharger, or at the very least 65psi under load. If you already had it running right and this is something that just started happening then I agree you need to figure out what the problem is. Fuel pressure at 55 psi was under boost? Or idle? Were you using your Meth injection as additional fuel or just to cool down the charge? Maybe there...- Russ M

Can you give us some more information. What are you using for fuel management? Vec 2? Stock injectors? Methanol? 700+rwhp are you sure? tested? Reason I ask is because thats a VERY tall order for a ROE with 10psi and no nitrous. Most likely you would need to get bigger injectors, Roe has a...- Russ M

Its easy All you need is an AEM unit along with some knock sensors, and some tuning. Problem is that Bottlefed has already spent money on a Vec 2 and air/fuel monitors, which probably would have cost him the same as buying the right unit in the first place. I have said it before and here it goes again. A good tune is worth more than any built motor or indestructible part. Would you take delivery of your Viper after seeing it like this ?
Look on the bright side... The owner saved a bunch of money by not using an enclosed trailer, or a reputable tow company. Whats the difference anyways John Deer or Viper they both have 4 wheels.- Russ M

Tuners are telling me two different things
Air fuel monitors do not work very well when used with nitrous, I had a guru explain it to me once why that was but bottom line is dont put too much faith into an a/f monitor with nitrous. Use the plug thread heat method along with the a/f to tune it. Your timing should be fine since you are...- Russ M

708 cam vs ABS brakes
The big advantage to 99 and older is. 1) Stronger motor, hands down. They can and have shown to be capable of 1000rwhp on stock bottom ends. Loss of 29 HP with upgrades?
Your car is an 01 which means its a creampuff, so your original reading of 438/481 was just wrong. An honest dyno will show 395-405 for any 2000+ gen 2 in stock form, any more than that and I suggest going to a different dyno shop. Your new dyno runs are in line with a 2000+ with slight mods...- Russ M

Gen 2 GTS vs C6 ZO6?
Its a drivers race, if drivers are equal the zo6 will beat you by .3-.4 in the qtr mile with a stock gen 2. With the mods you have its very possible to beat the zo6. There have been several people that have done mid 11's with far fewer mods than yours.- Russ M

Side splitters installed (pics)
To make the car look right with them you need to get the front splitter as well, without it they just don't belong. On a side note, if you know how to photoshop I have a feeling if you put the front on and paint both front and sides same color as your stripes the car may really look good...- Russ M

Couple opinions needed!! FAST
I don't see any reason to buy a wide band unless you have a way to reprogram your tune along with it. If anything you should get a vec 2 or 3, or better yet an AEM unit which comes with a built in dual wide band. The short shifter is a must, I dont know how anyone drives a viper without one.- Russ M

?? Best/easiest way to strap car to open trailer
I have been trailering all sorts of cars for 20 years or so now, open trailers/enclosed trailers and the only straps I use now is the ones that fit between the spokes in the wheels.
