    No, I've worked with the air flow (speed) through them instead of the area. Airbox, cones etc. That's were you find hp. /JP Have you ever tried bigger TBOs and see if you pick up any hp? Max

    Hey man, the one and only real Viper is of course the side piped Gen 1 cars. The combination with fresh electronic music and a classic in its own time is unbeaten...my two cents :-) The video was released 2000.

    I would not do the TBOs unless yre doing the heads and cam. You will loose bottom end. I'm still running with stock TBOs on my modified engine, and my engine pumps out 643hp and 664 ftlbs.

    Question on fuel pressure issue

    Removing the tank is not a brainer. Just drill the rivets, unhook the straps, remove the fender wells, remove the gaspipe...then it's just to pull it backwards. Can be done in 5 hours. Check your Assembly Manual. No problemo.

    The 92/93 Vipers had them in magnesium...I think. But the porosity became a problem.
