For any interested parties:
I have been long interested in acquiring an ORECA GTS-R front fascia for my car. After contacting ORECA, I soon found the price to be much too high. Total would run close to $25K for all parts with shipping from France. This fascia needs a wider hood as well since the ORECA cars are a bit wider than the stock GTS.
I have spoken to Scott of Vipersbyelite (ViperMD) and am planning to have him construct an exact replica (or as close as it can get) of the Oreca GTS-R front fascias as a replacement for our stock fascias. These fascias will be made out of a flexible resin fiberglass (same material he currently uses for his custom fascia replacement). So they will have some give. Of course, these won't be exact replicas as they will be as wide as our stock fascias, but should look near identical. So close, hopefully, no one could tell the difference.
Items to note:
I will be giving input as the fascia progresses through its development on any changes or alterations needed to be made to keep it as close to the original as I see it. However, Scott will retain the reproduction rights to the mold to keep costs down.
This fascia will not incorporate the driving lights to keep costs lower.
Depending on interest, the cost can be as low as 3K, without splitter.
I am hoping for some interest on this. I realize the autoform fascia is close to this, but Scott's fascia should have less fitment issues and look closer to the original.
Post or email me if you are interested.
Thanks.
