Hell, I rub (wax) on my car more than I rub on the wife. The car doesn't nag, bitch, say no, and you can ride it as long as you like. he he he
P.S. miles on the car don't matter as much as they do on the wife.
Prashant,
I agree. Here is this discussion which I posted and had over 4 pages worth of comments. http://207.36.65.11/ViperUBB/Forum16/HTML/000096.html
Re: Picture! ( 2\'nd Try)
Al, your making me sick. This is the car you were going to sell me. I shouldn't have helped you put that picture out there. he he he
The car is unmistakeable. Which is exactly one of the reasons I have one. The increase in horsepower. The gen 3 convertable looks wimpy but the GTS-R has that mean look like the body style we have now and even more. Put the GTS-R up against the gen 2 and the gen 2 looks tame.
We here in San Antonio, and Austin feel we have both. Maxwell Dodge in Austin, and 4 Viper techs that go out of their way to make a Viper owner happy. And David Weaver, the shop foreman and head Viper tech is top notch in our books. I suggest you find a dealer that sells and services Vipers...
Your right. I forgot you have a gen 2 which uses both. When you turn the air control to the little sun looking dial that is recirculating air but I guess you dont want any air from the outside to come in. There is a dial for that also. Dont know why it would use both recirculating air and...
You can't plug that hole. If you look directly at the hole, that is the only source of air that it draws for the fan. You would have to route that inlet to inside the car. You dont think you have any options at this point to do that with a gen 1?
I have the chrome emblems on both sides of my 98 and I also have the emblems on the side rails just about the side seals when you open the door. They look great but you will play hell finding the rear ones because they dont make them. And like you said, the curvature of the rear bumper doesnt...
Not really on the gen 1 unless you go with aftermarket setup. There is no rain baffle to mod or any real restrictions except all the turns the air makes and the small openings in the front of the air box in front of the fascia.
I take it its on your 2001? Get the dealer to order you a new airbox first. Not sure but sounds like you are talking about the medal clips and the part that holds the clips onto the airbox. The chevrolet dealer make the exact part for a whole lot less. Do a search for the airbox clips and...
Re: Poll: Should I pick up \'03 at CAAP and drive home or have it delivered.
Your not going to be able to pick it up at the plant. From my understanding what Kingman said is correct as to who gets first shot at it, and CAAP is only taking the orders for the 2003 but you will not be able to...
Seems a bit high. I would go somewhere else and double check to see for sure. If it is correct, it's the highest numbers I have ever seen from a stocker.
John, I have an x-pipe I took off my 98 rt that I had on there for 3 months and put a flow master on. It will be for sale on the Viper sale site in the next day or so. Here is a pic of it, and I am asking $50.00 for it. http://www.viperclub.org/sctexas/images/X_Pipe.jpg
I would say if you do buy it just make sure you get the extended warranty to cover yourself. Official Dodge dealers really dont deal with reconditioned titles so your probably ok on that but I would still make sure. If there is only 20 percent tread left you can bet he used that car to its fullest.
