    Should I install a short shifter while the transmission is out?

    To change the shifter is about 20 minutes, if you're slow. Its very quick, inexpensive and easy to do. I love it and would recommend the change.

    Usually you would match the cam with heads/motor. You have rockers, rest of the motor is stock???? What does "rest is on its way" mean? So, what are your motor or head specks?

    It never was in Iceland... The owner is a member of this forum. Film was shot at Kilpisjarvi, near Saana mountain (Finland.) Some drive shots were on the Norwegian side of our border. (We have the arctic circle too.) BTW, Darude is from Finland.

    Do BOTH panels, if one is rotten, so is the other one. Been there, done that. 363 per panel is CHEAP.

    The usual tire question!

    ??????? What is ROAD legal drag stuff???? If you need street tires get Michelin's. If you need drag stip tires, get slicks. They will never pass inspection on the road.... If you need something inbetween, get Kumho's, thread wear is nominal and they are ok on street and on track. But not great...

    Gen 1, lowered with Eibach's (about 1-1.5") and 30530/18 Kumho's in front. No issues whatsoever... Car is however VERY nervous on highway, but goes through corners like a raped monkey. 275 or 285 will calm down the nervousness. That does not bother me too much. Oh, BTW, JonB fixed me up with...

    Good news for the Central Jersey gen 1 and 2 owners..Buhler and the Cometric ..

    Chuck was only 105 miles away..... THE MOST knowledgeable person on GEN 1 cars in USA. Oh well.. Make sure they change the thermostat, housing gasket and hoses while your heads are out. These will be the next things to rotten and leak over your ignition coils.

    Valve Covers

    You cannot chrome magnesium, you can polish it, but it turns ugly within weeks. You are better off finding aftermarket covers.

    IF you know what you are looking for and its NOT red/saddle, why are you whining about the saddle seats here? Move on, there are HUNDREDS of Vipers for sale. Get one, it cannot be that damn complicated? And you dont have to drive me anywhere, I dont like Solstice that much.

    supercharger was it a mistake

    25.000 miles with a ROE blower and no issues. Yes, very unreliable.... I did the 3.55 gears, waste of money. I dont care what people say. The ROE was "HOLY ****"!! BTW, the 300 shot of nitrous did the same "HOLY ****"!!!:D
