That is the best explanation I have seen as one does not really use their heel. As shown above the proper way is to roll your right outer toes onto the gas pedal while pressing the brake.

I am not advocating what I am about to say here. Plugging tires is a matter of choice and I would never race a tire that was plugged. But to run on a highway at normal speed limits I have never had a problem. I have plugged my rear tires 3 times so far and have put over 5000 miles on the plugs...
I also have this same problem on my 2003 and was told it was caused by the viper's odd firing engine. I solved the problem by draining the transmission and refilling it with the proper lubricant from Royal Purple. I no longer have any chatter.
