For my 97 GTS with $1000 deductible and 100/300/100 coverage, I pay $576 per 6 months with Progressive. I have a clean record with no tickets or accidents.
Yeah, find someone who has a bank account. You've gotta be kidding. You are probably laundering someone's money.
And remember, if it is too good to be true, ....
HP numbers are for bragging rights or 1/4 mile runs. It's how the rubber meets the road that matters. Anybody can smoke the tires with a 1000hp car but can they track it. That's what has always differentiated the Viper from the wannabe. With 600hp on tap, I would never want a TT.
I don't think it will work. There's also the research portion of SRT and that might not be splittable. And whoever thinks that they can market the Viper better than Chrysler is dreaming.
E85 is a big joke. It has lower fuel economy, increases the price of the underlying food product for the US and the world and doesn't reduce the effect of greenhouse gases. But somehow it's been linked as a green solution to the global warming crisis. :dunno:
Re: W.T.F. Viper RIP
Most people don't even know the Viper. least of all it's halo car image. I get numerous statements from pedestrians asking "Is that a Mustang?" or "Is that a Corvette?" or "I didn't know Dodge made that?".
So I say, there's no "image". And if they stop making a Viper...
Chuck,
Being the original proponent of having a petition, I have to add that if this has got to lawyers, no petition is going to do you any good. I did sign it (#323).
As you know, I have always supported you and I don't mean to piss you off, but get OFF the phone and SELL some cars. :-)...
I saw that on my GTS some 10 years ago on a misty Boston night. Unfortunately I didn't have a camera handy. Needless to say, I love that "sneaky" Pete.
My 97 GTS stalled on the highway during my morning commute. Not once but twice. It stalled when I got off the gas from 65mph because of rush hour traffic ahead. I did a rolling start and continued on fine until the next backup and it happened again. The problem occured twice the 1st 10 miles and...
Living in the northeast, I've dealt with this problem for 10 winters now. What I do is to run the car for about 10 miles every 2-3 weeks (preferably 2 weeks). It lasts all winter without a problem if I do this. It's the alarm that drains the battery.
