    ZR1 had the supposedly superior CCB's, traction management and suspension but was basically matched by the TA without. Tech and equipment list isn't everything, but at least will help the Corvette be a better daily driver while remaining a top performer. I don't personally care if it's quicker...

    It could be difficult to find out if over the course of a 20-30 minute hard fought track session the ZR1 brakes or other systems pack it in. It's ceramic brake system was toast after it's one record setting Laguna Seca lap. Not impressed with any Corvettes ability to hold together on track...

    Buy the one that appeals to you most... and forget other's opinions. Both are going to be great cars, but different enough in some pretty significant ways that will make all the difference to some, while being meaningless to others. Exclusivity and styling are the first ones that comes to mind...

    Well thankfully that isn't the case, and couldn't be further from the truth. 2013 certainly had its challenges, and about the only reminder of that is some older inventory yet to be sold. Great values for the buyer who was willing to wait.

    I think the new Z06 will be a full measure of performance above the ZR1. The new 7 speed and e-diff, combined with improved active suspension and new sensors will allow it to easily outperform in every way. That performance will be much more accessible, and able to be driven at the limit much...
