I just passed 15k. When I got it at ~9200, it was not like this or at least not this bad (the car was from Saint Louis). It keeps getting worse and worse too.
The past ~5k miles were all in the NW, yes. I guess there's a lot of gravel on the road here...
Here's my full guide on how to install, use, and charge with using the kit: http://www.viper007bond.com/2012/08/21/how-to-install-an-ipod-adapter-kit-in-a-dodge-viper/
I've been using the kit for 4 months now with zero problems. :)
Sorry that it took so long for me to write this but here's my guide on how to install the kit: http://www.viper007bond.com/2012/08/21/how-to-install-an-ipod-adapter-kit-in-a-dodge-viper/
My car is attracting rocks like crazy and I've never driven on a gravel road or anything like that. :(
Any suggestions on how to avoid this?
I think I'm going to try getting it resprayed and then wrapped close to the wheel but I can't wrap that far back to the heat.
I resolved the charging issue by getting an adapter that fixes the charging pins.
For Pandora, etc. that actually works perfectly fine! All apps other than the normal Music app work normally.
For the music app, it plays whatever it was playing before you plugged it in so I usually stick it on...
I think you're going to have trouble trying to convince people to maintain two separate calendars. We maintain an events page on our Facebook page as it's easy and allows people to individually mark whether or not they'll be attending.
I urge you to give the Facebook group a try, even if that's...
Yeah, me and Brant stopped by to check it out before we saw your other message. Besides the damage shown in his picture ( ;) ), the car looks fine. A very minor ding here and there but that's to be expected with a used car.
FYI for any other locals -- Beaverton Nissan is the one on Cedar Hills down before you hit TV Highway.
If Brant is too busy to swing by there, I'm also nearby and would be happy to snap pictures and give it a visual inspection.
Oh, that's right, I had forgotten. :)
However wider tires reduce understeer which is built into the car for safety, no? (As opposed to oversteer) I imagine the 2013 is set up for the wider tires while a Gen 4 is meant to have 275's if on the road.
Still, damn those wheels are sexy...
So apparently the new Viper runs 295's in the front which means it won't fit on my car well. :(

I had been on and off considering painting my razor wheels black but after seeing the photo Ralph posted today, I just gotta have some black Gen V wheels instead!
Based on what happened with the Gen III and Gen IV wheels, when do you guys guess that the Gen V wheels will be available...
I have this Mopar one: https://www.viperpartsofamerica.com/index.php/products/2003-2010-viper-srt10-roadster-oem-car-cover-82207933
They make one for coupes too.
I've yet to actually use it but from my inspection of it, it looks like a very good cover.
Bingo. You only get posts from your friends so just don't friend anyone you don't want to see posts from. Or even just join the Viper group and that's it.
I dusted off my never used Facebook account for this group and I'm happy I did. Been meeting up with lots of other Vipers as a result of it.
Roweena Crest sounds awesome and I'd totally be down for that.
I just picked up an OEM paint dabber rather than going third party: https://www.viperpartsofamerica.com/index.php/products/1996-2010-dodge-viper-gts-blue-touch-up-paint-04864082ab
I haven't used it yet though. Hmm.
Aha, there we go! The headphone jack / line in works perfectly for Pandora, etc. So really the only fault with this kit is not being able to control your actual music via the iPhone.
I got keys cut for like $3, although it was just a dumb key with no plastic or anything.
Are Viper keys RFID? The guy's tester says it wasn't but I would assume later model Vipers would be.
