I'm not exactly sure how they are defined in this case, but typically somewhere in the middle (with PDA I usually run blue which is the faster of the two intermediate groups)
Phil
I mailed the check today. Bob, if you are monitoring this thread, could you confirm receipt when it arrives?
Thanks,
Phil
Andrew:
I have a hot lap timer which we can share. If we are in different run groups it's no problem, if in the same then we'll have to use it every other.
Re: O2 sims on a \'99?
I have a question which is related to this topic. I hope you dont mind my temporary hijack.
I have a 99 acr no cats. I do not get a check engine but DMV gets a not ready when trying to inspect . the not ready is in only two categories (both of which are related to...
Andrew:
Thanks for the tips. I didn't end up running the slicks (this time) and was only able to run about 120 through the bowl turn on the Pilots which of course limited me to about 155 on the back straight. Had a great time and already looking forward to doing it again.
Unfortunately the...
Twin: Ususally they are strict but at the Mopar event (especially on Friday when we have the place all to ourselves, I have never seen them bust anyone's chops on times or speed.

Regarding the suits, I see that there are two standards (at least in the Simpson that I looked at, STD 6 and STD 19) Are both std 6 and std 19 acceptable? Also, does anyone know the difference between the two standards?
Phil
I would be suicidal if I drove all the way there and had to run in the green group. Guess I'll be safe and get a suit. What's a good deal on a suit these days?
Phil
What is the bottom line on the driving suit and gloves. I see that the info on the site shows it is necessary but if memory serves, they haven't actually required it in years past. I know that PDA never requires it at Pocono.
Phil
Thanks Larry.
Could you e-mail me the applications for both of those events (or point me in the right direction as to where I can download them from I tried the NJ site but didn't see them there.
Thanks again, see you soon.

There's a shop in Englishtown (I know you asked for NY but this is all I know of for a good custom job). If interested I can get you name and number. I believe the name of the shop is Neverlift (Leo is the owner's name).
I don't have one to offer you but wanted to chime in and let you know not to get an RPS if one comes your way. I had a very poor experience with it and have heard from several others that they had the same experience.
