    Winshield Decal

Nope, winshield flair is not for me. I can hardly bring myself to putting required flair (toll & gate transponders) on the windshield to begin with. The only optional flair I have is a 2x4-inch college alumni emblem on the rear window. But I do have 'Scat Pack' round flair on the Challenger.:2tu:

Do you use them? If so, what brand (McGard, Gorilla, other)? Thanks.

How often do you guys clean your car?

Whenever my finger swipe of the front wheels reveals a noticeable buildup of brake pad dust:wow:. That stuff is corrosive, and if you're going to wash the wheels, might as well do the whole Viper. I use a natural bristle brush (horse hair I think) with a wooden handle to float away the dirt on...

    Frozen Window Locks

My window key locks don't turn :panic:. I've PB Blaster'd them to soak and still no movement. Don't think they've ever been turned since the factory install. So, is there a way to open the locks from the inside to get them working again? Can I get new locks? The only reason I'm pursuing this...

Absolutely; all others are, well, simply Viper 'chicklets'.:spin:

    Viper Chicks

It's rare to see another Viper on the road, rarer still with a woman pilot. Where are all the Viper chicks?

Late GEN II Audio Amp 'R C' Switch?

Well I played the radio with the switch both ways and really couldn't tell much difference. The 'R'oadster theory sure sounds like a winner, so I'll leave it positioned there. The Owner's and Shop manuals are silent to it. Thanks folks, appreciate all the help.

800HP Shelby for 2012 I hope the Viper tops it

Me too. Like the way you cradled the blueberries in the center . . . very thoughtful.:2tu:

Keeping new Viper owners SAFE - a How To:

Don't disagree at all. Dodge includes defeatable ESC on their Hemi products. ESC can be completely disabled if needed from the driver's seat. Best of both worlds . . . ESC when you're not thinking about it, and no ESC when you deliberately don't want it.

Late GEN II Audio Amp 'R C' Switch?

Replaced the OEM center woofer because the cone surround had crumbled away. Noticed the amp mounted on the bulkhead in the trunk has what looks like a switch marked "R C". What's that for?

    Rear Pads R&R

Thanks for the heads-up. As I'm planning the replacement right now (the roadster only has 7700 street miles clocked on her), haven't decided on EBCs green/red, Hawks or ?. Have used Hawks on previous cars and really liked them. Always looking forward to the expert advice from the seasoned...

    Pulling ECM #5 Fuse

Unsure if GEN II ECM is adaptive. :dunno: Does pulling #5 fuse to de-energize the ECM reset adaptive parameters (e.g., throttle behavior). Thanks.

    Rear Pads R&R

That must be what the manual is referring to. So the main pads on the rear R&R just like the fronts? That's good news. Thanks.

    Rear Pads R&R

Planning '01 RT/10 brake pad replacement on all corners. For the rear calipers, the service manual says you need a special tool to rotate the piston in its bore to fit the new pads. Any workaround to this? Thanks.
