Late GEN II Audio Amp 'R C' Switch?

This is a guess...the one I pulled out of my RT/10 is set to 'R'. How about:
R - RT/10 or Roadster
C - Coupe
R - RT/10 or Roadster
C - Coupe

Damn it! I hate it when I'm wrong. 
Might be the crossover. Play a track flip the switch back and fourth and see if you hear voices and treble coming out of your subwoofers. If you do than its def the crossover and leave it on(aka only low frequencies to the subs)

I too was curious so I went out and switched from "C" to "R". Apparently the "R" is a low pass cutoff and the "C" is a full range setting for the rear speakers. I did not notice any change to the front speakers. I have Infinity Kappa 60.2cs components with crossovers in the doors and just the woofers with no crossovers or tweeters in the rear. The "R" low pass is to low for my speakers and they loose all their mid bass punch. The "C" setting brings back the mid bass but also mid ranges and a hint of some highs (probably lost in the frequency response of the speakers itself). This full rang helps fill the sound inside the car and I much prefer the "C" setting.
My thoughts are that in a R/T10, having full range output for rear speakers right next to the seats may be to over powering. Having then a setting for just low frequencies would help fill in the sound stage without a full range speaker next to your ears. This would make sense for a "C" for coupe and "R" for roadster. My logic is not always right, anyone care to confirm?

Well I played the radio with the switch both ways and really couldn't tell much difference. The 'R'oadster theory sure sounds like a winner, so I'll leave it positioned there. The Owner's and Shop manuals are silent to it. Thanks folks, appreciate all the help.

When I switched between the two settings there was a HUGE difference. I would have to contribute that to my after market speakers, even though they are connected no differently than the stock speakers. I wish I still had the stock speakers to put back in to try.
I read it in the service manual last year, R = Roadster, C = Coupe.
Coupe has two rear speakers in rear, RT/10 one. (GEN II) The swich changes the frequencies played from the back speakers. You won't notice much difference with stock rear speakers, but if you change to aftermarket, you can tell.
