Chrysler was purchased for it's distribution channel in the US so Fiat can re-enter the US market. Simple as that. Don't think they care about the cars we want. Their loss.
GM sponsor's the website... they don't want a Viper getting free eyeballs. Glad they're letting him finally talk about the Viper though.
*update: haven't been top the site in a while... looks like GM is no longer the main sponsor... prob why the Viper is being featured now.

Daimler made sure even their compact cars had an AMG equivalent that can keep up with the Viper before spending any time on it. While Daimler had the Viper, we lost most of our competitive advantages.
It's hard to believe the Viper has even sold at all considering DC then Cerberus has treated the Viper a the ugly stepchild for the last 5-7 years. Barely an ad mentioning the Viper. Even a recent Chrysler branding commercial where they drive their "entire" lineup on screen... no Viper to be seen.

That's a better idea... go through chuck's current customer base and invite them all to come, vipers and all... but just us with vipers? looks cool for us, but not a compelling enough story.
