Hardcore ACR = Orange Has emblems. Only identified weight savings are no hood pad, no truck carpeting, stereo delete, speaker delete, and carbon fiber covers for fuel tank access, battery and holes left by absence of above audio equip. New viper owner problems on my 97 RT/10
good Lord - I LOVE the 97 blue and white striped RT/10. How I'd love one of those, another 1996 GTS and a 1998 GT2 for my Gen II collection.... It is a rare car - take good care of it. Hope it works out - side sills are NOT cheap - and it's not easy finding someone that is good with working...- Janni

As for the wiggle - it's likely just the car settling into the grooves in the road. You likely can't see it - but with the wide tires, it will tramline a little and hunt for the groove in the road. Personally - I'd be embarrassed to put stanchions around my Viper. I would also think that it would attract the kind of negative attention that you don't want - instead of being accommodating and allowing access - folks would likely think you are a jerk who brings their car out for others to...- Janni

Date the Last 1997 Viper was built! July??
ok - how's this for ya - my new ACR has a build date of 4/15/2009 and I couldn't get it until 9/11/2009 FACTORY PICKUP! And I can guarantee that is was not DONE on 4/15/2009..... Viper model years, build sequence (and I use that term loosely) are not like any other car. Period.- Janni

Perhaps this is the best way for me to explain how I look at the Viper. I used to ride horses. You had your basic 2 type - rock solid unflappable mounts that would carry you safely over fences, through fireworks, over the river, etc. You could show them and win some ribbons.
