I had so many questions for the SRT guys, but I didn't get a chance to get to this one....why no fog lamps on the new car? That's a signature a feature as anything else on the exterior of the car. I did notice that the AMLS car had them though (and I think it looks good). Thoughts?
just goes to show that 80% of the brand wars is made up. real car guys recognize a good car no matter the badge. Class showing from the Vette boys.....(although I'm sure there are plenty of "other" opinions).
I'm one of the people who complained about the car "only" having 640hp, but the truth is the Viper really built it's reputation on it's racing and track records, not on HP numbers. Time will tell how well it will do in this regard, but history can't be changed...the Gen 4 ACR will go down as one...
I didn't ask directly, but I overheard Ralph respond by saying "competitive with other cars in the market...the viper has always been a performance bargain and that will remain with this car" or something like that. I think the options list is going to make this car accessible to a lot of...

I don't think the Top Gear guys will swoon...necessary. I think the rawness of the Viper is what appealed to them and now that it has jumped a few weight classes in terms of interior quality, they will likely compare it to the other supercars. To me, it's really a homerun as it incorporates...
It's likely that I will be selling my Gen 4 coupe this summer.....to get a used ACR. :) I'm interested to see what happens to the prices and who else will be selling...that's the only thing that matters. Seems like a few ACRs going for 72-78k-ish. Sounds like a steal to me. I don't think the...
Oh well. If you ever make it to Northern Virginia (or Washington DC) let me know. I'd be glad to show you around the car scene in the area and of course let you see a VR in person. :)
