Fred is right...you get what you pay for. Even I can't justify and $800 jack though The USG is worth the money and is smoother than my Griot. For 150 bucks it's worth a try. IMHO
I have a US General and a $400 Griot's jack. They both work. Have not had a problem with the US General. I use it at the track and keep it in the trailer as the Griot weighs a ton.
I paid 149 for it and saw they have it on sale at Harbor Freight for $169 now.
Here is the build schedule for my SRT-10:
1/7/03 D Status
1/27 D1
2/19 E
2/20 G
2/24 I
3/7 J
4/6 JS
4/7 KZ
4/11 Delivered to Woodhouse
4/17 Delivered to me in California
100 days from D to Delivery.
I expect there was some delay because of the valve issue and...
Chris...why didn't you appeal to the Civil court system and get out of the local traffic court system. You might have a more objective review of the facts and the delay will at least keep the ticket off your license until the case is tried.

Went to the local donut shop this morning where all the hot rodders (and lot's of industry execs) hang out. The SRT was a big hit. More people came over to see it than they have for my RT/10. The majority thought the car was great.
Final...I still didn't live with my Mother at 17. I took care...
Interesting discussion.
I went to a very big Mercedes dealer today and while my SRT sat in front I watched all the salespeople and potential customers surround the car. Considering that everything from 600's to AMG's were there, they had lots of other choices to look at.
I was thinking the...
George...Woodhouse delivered my SRT yesterday. Before I even drove it around the block my Gripper shifter was in place! What a great piece of machining. Just though you might like to know where you fall on my priority list.

Final GTS... your bias is so obvious that it detracts from any reasonable points you make. I wonder what statistical evidence you reviewed to conclude that there is a systemic problem with the differential design and/or manufacture for the SRT. I also wonder how you could consider the problem...
Chris...don't feel too bad. I have just appealed a guilty verdict for a ticket I got in AZ. The cop wrote me for speeding, unsafe lane changes and not having an insurance card. When I gave the cop the card..he said he already had it written so I should deal with the court. He actually wrote a...
I'm still curious if I can find out whether an undelivered car had the "adjustment" made prior to delivery.
2charmed...don't be too depressed about the JS status. My SRT went JS on 4/7 and then KZ on the same day. The car was delivered to Woodhouse on 4/11. Despite Tony and Steve's best...
Thanks Jerry but I'll pass. I really do appreciate the offer. No, really I do. (This is the second time I rejected your car you know!)
Willy P told me my car went to JS status today...shipped to storage. Never heard about that status for a Viper before! I guess Estes and Ferguson are making good...
What do you mean your SRT? I thought you already got an SRT?
Did you pick up any information about the Valve issue while you were there? Did you by chance see them replacing valves on the cars in the warehouse?
I went to HB Dodge when the certificate program was first developing. The Sales Manager had no clue about the process and when I told him that I could buy the car at a fair amount above invoice he said they would never sell a Viper that cheaply. I told him to call me when he understood that he...
Frank...I would too know! The ABS light will be on, the AC will blow hot air and there is a mark on the right front fender where it rolled into a DeLorean due to a faulty parking brake! Quit your whining...at least you have a car.
Maybe I should have taken the reject we gave Jerry.
