Given that my SRT went to J on March 7, I will be really freaked if I have to wait another month plus shipping time to get my car. You might as well just wait and send me a white 04. Someone please tell me the cars will ship sooner than another month so I can sleep tonight.
BADASP...IMHO I don't think this problem has anything to do with first year production issues. As I understand it, the valve supplier delivered non-spec valves and they were not discovered upon delivery. The valves were then used in the build process. It's probably more a QC issue than anything...
Joe...since my SRT has been sitting at the warehouse for a while is it fair to assume they will be replacing valves of completed but not shipped cars while they are still at CAAP? Also, how will I know if my car was repared before delivery?
If the guy was driving 55 in the left #1 lane with the top up on a beautiful day complaining about the AC it was probably Dead President from Rancho Sante Fe.
Don't get your hopes up for having the car any time soon. Here is the progression of my SRT:
1-7-03 D Status
1-27-03 D1
2-19-03 E
2-20-03 G
2-24-03 I
3-7-03 J
The car has been finished and sitting in the warehouse for 3 weeks. The time from D to J status...2 months.
Re: I think you\'ll like this! Custom paint schemes! LIVE!
Now I know what Woodhouse did with the deposit for my SRT! And I thought he bought an island with Pemberton!
Tony...after saving your RT/10 from the ravages of the mob at Luke AFB could you find it in your heart to persuade Dodge to ship my car while I'm still young enough to drive it?
My SRT was in I status for weeks and has been in J status for 2 weeks now. It is going to Woodhouse so waiting to fill a truck is not likely the problem. That's 5 weeks...How can Dan say he never saw a car sit in I status for more than a week?
While I understand the concern about drop shipping...
Oh no! Oh my gosh...what are we going to do?? The new SRT-10's have problems...Billy P...should I buy mine? Am I going to have problems with it? Will they have spare parts? Will DC support the warranty? What if the company disappears? What if I can't afford the fuel for it?
PANIC IS NEVER THE...
Re: New DYNO #\'s - Not a Cream Puff after all!
Jerry...Distance is not a problem. I have a lot of frequent flyer miles but 13 is too young.Guess you're safe... for now!
Re: New DYNO #\'s - Not a Cream Puff after all!
Tony:
I really appreciate your pulling strings for me...btw, we will name our first daughter after you.
Jerry...do you have a daughter?? I do get up your way every once in a while too you know!
Re: New DYNO #\'s - Not a Cream Puff after all!
When the next person asks what benefits they get if they join VCA, my answer will be "great friends and good fellowship". If that doesn't convince people to fork over a hundred bucks, nothing will!
Tony...I'll pick your daughter up at 7 on Friday...
Re: New DYNO #\'s - Not a Cream Puff after all!
Maybe not a cream puff Jerry, but still rejected by three Viper owners! At least now you'll be able to keep up with the rest of the gang. :D
BTW...my SRT reached J status after about 2 weeks in I. Steve and Tony are telling CAAP to make this as...
Re: SRT\'s being delivered in CA.
I knew you'd chime in sooner or later. You, Dead President, are a Poseur. Your car was ordered from and delivered to Blair NB. It has Pemberton's fingerprints all over it. You do NOT have a CA car...you, as does Sir Fang, merely have a Viper in CA. :p You...
Re: SRT\'s being delivered in CA.
Jerry...Jerry...Jerry....
It's not really YOUR car. The rightful owner (who resides outside the state of California) is merely letting you BORROW it. If Ben ordered his car from a CA dealer and took delivery in CA, then he has the first CA Viper. If not, then...
Steve...only one "N" in whiner. Two in Winner. Make up your mind.
Tony..."I" really means I may ask your daughter out on a date when I get to Phoenix. Be nice to your future son-in-law.
My preference would be small inserts to cover only the open sides when the top is down and not do the whole boot. I would rather not have to go through the process of removing the entire cover to raise the top.
