Re: Heading to the drag strip next week ... any tips appreciated / heard of wrecks --
Thats really good info ... with the dry burnout , just a couple seconds to clean off the rocks and debri? I heard street tires wont get hot or sticky.
Snapping?
I guess I wasnt sure if I should be...
I am planning on meeting up with my buddy at the track next week. ( 06' SRT8 Charger w/ 7lbs boost )
I have taken two 13 second vehicles down the track before (1 auto, 1 six speed) ... but I hope to get my first 12 second pass in the Viper.
People have told me they have seen Vipers eat the...
The funny thing is the girlfriend I had before this last one was jealous of the car too ... she drove by my house and texted me " I thought only guys with small dicks drive cars like that " . I meet all the quality girls ;) HAHAHA ... she drives a Buick Grand National , and doesnt even know how...
Re: Will an UNUSED SCT 9550 pull a check engine code, or do I need the dongle install
Any basic OBD2 scanner will read and clear codes right?
Looks like my tuner doesnt want to use my SCT and its up for sale ... Thanks :) ---
My last GF liked my Viper until she went on a few cruises around town with me in it. She HATED the attention I got in it ... then started saying TONS of negative stuff about it , like it was too flashy and a waste of a lot of money. HAHAHA ... oh well ;) , another reason I am glad I got rid of...
I get that a lot too ... my ex gf hated the car because of the attention it got me and always referred to it as "the gas guzzler".
When I tell people the highway miles they are actually REALLY impressed , as was I the first time I heard it :) ---
So the coilover adjustable spring kit is part of the actual shock that is inside the spring?
Sorry for being ignorant, but I thought I had coilovers for a couple other cars before that you could replace the inner shock, and reuse the outer coil setup. ("Ground Control" for an Acura and a...
My car has been throwing a check engine light if I let it sit for awhile, and usually turns itself off after starting the car 3 times (or maybe its the mileage, but seems like a certain number of startups will fix it).
I have a SCT 9550 that I have never been able to use because my engine...
I got in my car after letting it sit for 2-3 days ( I have been driving it daily ) and noticed I had a flat tire.
Well, my lighter wasnt working so I couldnt use my portable air compressor.
I drove it 1 mile up the road and my check engine light came on.
Could the ABS pick up the...
OK, the tire was 100% flat again yesterday. Looks like it only holds air for a week (loses it a little at a time).
Can the silicone bead be fixed by any wheel/tire shop , or is this something I have to look at shipping off to HRE to get fixed?
Looks to be temperature sensitive ... it was...
OK thanks guys, I wasnt sure if the SCT had to be "used" or "unlocked" first, since its the version with NOTHING installed tune wise from the factory. ---
My lighter didnt want to charge my phone, but I figured it was because my lighter plug in for the charger was sorta short.
Well, I tried to use a portable air compressor with a LONG lighter plug and it didnt work either.
I am thinking it has a blown fuse ... where is the fuse box I need...
I let the car sit for 2 days ... got in it , noticed it had a flat tire ... drove it 1 mile up to put air in the tire and the check engine light came on.
Would the ABS sensors see the difference in tire diameter from left to right rear tire and throw a code?
I have the 9550 SCT scanner, but...
Why do the tailpipes look off center in the first pic, then non-existant in the other pic?
