    Speedometer issues ... is this common? ---

    I was driving today and I noticed when I was doing about 40mph the speedo would die and go to ZERO for a couple seconds then jump back up. It did this the last time I drove the car too. I have rear gears , not sure if that will do something ... and I am pretty sure I have the speedometer...

    I just measured it at 3.75" to the lowest point on the front spoiler. I wonder why you are so much lower? What tire size are you running? Do you clear the dyno? Thanks everyone for the tips and heads up :) ---

    I want to go get the car dyno'd , but am worried I wont clear the drums in the ground with my stock front spoiler. Can they usually drop the drums so you can drive over them, then lift them back up? Its going to be a DynoJet Dyno , thanks :) ---

    Oh dang, I forgot to calculate my tire size vs stock height tires. The 345/25/20 I am running has an overall diameter of 26.8" The 335/30/18 Stock has an overall diameter of 25.9" Difference of .9" more on my setup. I actually just found an online calculator that allowed me to put in...

    I actually asked another member with 4.10 gears to tell me what mph he was pulling at 4th gear / 2000 rpm ... we are both at the same speed , so I guess I have 4.10's. Thanks ... my car is actually out of Orlando, I see you are in FL ... are you active in a club around there? You may know it...

    I just got the car a week ago and havent crawled under it all the way yet. I want to look at the gears because I am not sure if I have 3.55's , 3.73's, or 4.10's I found a receipt from the previous owner stating "gear install" ... So to answer my original question, there are no TA girdles...

    I run the TA girdle covers on all my solid rearend cars, but wasnt sure if they made one for the independent rears that we have. It stiffens up the pumpkin, and puts preload on the main bearings. What rearend do we have, what is it called ( IE. Ford 9" , Chevy 10 or 12 bolt, ect ) ...
