If these posts are removed it will prove the point about the censorship. I also refused to join and decided to deny them the membership fees. I am really hoping the Viper car club ( business) will change for the better and be like it was 7 years ago when I first joined. Yes, I fully expect this...
I bought two of them from a medical supply company online. They are the same bulb they use on a manual blood pressure device. I can't remember what I paid, but it was only a few bucks each.
I had something similar happen with my 99 RT-10 while driving back from VOI 11 in Salt Lake. It was early in the morning and I was passing a truck while headed to Pendelton Oregon when I saw something in my lane. I had nowhere to go and I hoped it wasn't something hard. I hit it, thinking it was...
If I am not mistaken the bolt pattern matches the Dodge Dakota. Perhaps a used wheel and tire place can verify the bolt circle and 6 lug pattern and you could find 4 old rims with some sort of tires on them.
I wanted to invite other Viper Track Rats in the Northwest area to join with me for a track day on May 2nd at Portland International Raceway. It is being hosted by the group "Hooked on Driving". They have 3 run groups and can provide instructors if you require it. Their link is...
That is great news. I remember very well in the late 1990's when they did so well over there. They will have some racing over here to sort out the cars.
Good Luck to SRT!
I re-did my brakes and painted the old front calipers with the red G2 paint before putting them in the back. I was able to find various colors of caliper decals which are resistant to the heat on eb*y under viper calpier decals on the search. Ithink they were $7.95 for 2 large and 2 smaller ones.
I am not sure if anyone has posted tihis video yet. It is from the New York Times and has nearly 4 minutes of nice video and sound showing them building on the new assembly line. Apologies if this is a repeat.

Niice work! That is a very ambitious project. I think that will the most sinister looking trailer you will ever see. It would be interesting to determine the drag coefficient. It should be very good.
Good luck and keep up the good work. I imagine you will keep the molds to build some more for...
I drove mine from Washington state to Charlotte and back which was 6,000 miles. I am 68 ands have had back surgery, but the seat was supportive. My longest day was 834 miles and 14 hours. Other than wishing for cruise control I was OK driving that far. It is never boring, even on the long...
I had a local guy do my stripes and I am gald I didn't try to do it myself. The flat areas on the top, trunk and hood were easy. Doing the stripes on the fascia took more time than the rest of the car. They had to be trimmed very carefully to make them look perfectly straight. He made the...
On my trip to Charlotte I noticed that only pumps that gave me trouble were at Shell Stations. The one across the street from the Embassy Suites was the worst one I have seen. I didn't have much trouble at other stations. I should have checked to see who manufactured their nozzles at the Shell...
Thank you for the nicely detailed photo. I will take my time and be very careful. This will be the first time I have cut things on the Viper. It should be worth it for the inprovement in braking.
I appreciate the help.
A big thanks for GTSR-001 for letting me know that the ears have to be removed for my installation. I will get some fresh Sawzall blades and grinding discs and be ready for a fun installation and a whole lot better brake system than the original one.
Before you get mad at me for not researching the forums please understand I have dug into any posts back to 2004 for Dave's Big Brake Installations as well as the Stoptech Brakes. I tried to understand everything to do, but I have one simple question which may have been answered already, but...
I remove the access cover in the front of the wheelwell and take a LED light and shine it toward the coolant recovery tank and it usually illuminates the fluid enough so I can determine the amount. The LED light I have is a cheapy Harbor Freight one which is 2 1/2 " by 1 1/2" with a bunch of...
Are you shipping your car there?
It will be nice to have some familiar faces from our region. In Utah , which was my first VOI, I was amazed how friendly everyone is and it is hard to find a stranger amongst the crowd.
I have the car well prepared and my plan is to run about 650 miles each...
