    Maybe we are going to Death Valley, but WITH high humidity. Have you checked the advance temperature predictions for Dallas during VOI8? -- 93 degrees every day. That ought to give my 3M a workout!

    SRT Tie Downs

    On the SRT, do you: 1. Use similar frame tie down locations (in frame in front of front wheels, and back of rear wheels). 2. Use R hooks like the GTS? 3. Cross the back straps and not the front?

    I zipped off an e-mail to the guy in Utah that does the airplane blade clearbra, which isn't 3M. If he is interested in coming down he has told me about a year ago that it takes about 6 cars to make it profitable. I have no idea if the VOI folks in charge would even let him on the property...

    How do you guys clean BLACK

    I have also found out that you can clean these things, if you are a cheap asp like me. Just put some hot water in the tub, slop the thing around in the hot water, and just watch the crap that comes off. And it appears that the duster still has some beeswax available and is still able to dust.

    I believe the paint is special for flexible panels. If the panels are metal, the paint is formulated differently, at least that's what I have noticed on web sites, where the difference can be specified.

    K&N Filtercharger whistle

    Installed mine today. Skip still skips, and the whistle lasts about 10 seconds after startup, and is pretty loud. I'm not going to worry about the noise, since it vanished after the 10 seconds. Besides, it is too hard to take the box back off and put all the stuff back on. By the way...

    What's ya mean especially in red? The only other color I saw was silver, and it was really nice going around that hairpin. I thought the red looked "unclean" in some of the shots. Needed some polish.
