    I don't notice a difference with the stock heat shields, but the weather in general hasn't been real hot here since I got them installed.

    I think SloCal is confusing loss of hearing with old age with the effects of his exhaust system. The whistle is still audible even on a big-cammed Gen II with Hennessey headers, Borla exhaust and no cats.

    What is the official name for the blue Viper color?

    I received an e-mail from DC asking for my permission to rename the color "Kid Blue" - I'm still negotiating a license fee. I think a more appropriate name would be "Big Boy Blue" with the current Saphire Blue being renamed "Creampuff Blue."

    SloCal - unfortunately, we live in the biggest speed trap/traffic area of the world. I've heard of everything being used in SoCal, including Laser in OC. But the "bogies" I think you should be more concerned about are the ones lurking as blue and white '97 GTS's waiting to eat your lunch...
