David,
Dozens and dozens of 9 second passes and over 200 10 second passes on the ONLY set of HD halfhafts I have ever installed in my Viper....Oh! and Lee Saunders from the post above has them in his 9 second Viper as well.
Call me Monday and I will have you a set just like em by...
Nice Pics Guys!!
There are a few more pics on my website showing another fellow VCA members RT/10 with the bar powdercoated Blue.
We keep roll bars and harness sets in stock for both RT/10 and GTS Vipers. Best of luck in your search.

Count me in.......give me a call as a reminder a day or so prior to the rental day. I will bring payment with me on race day. You might also want to check with the Wiezingers(track ownership) as to bringing more cars than the customary (6).

Using the stock clutch with 970 RW Torque. It's a bit tempermental about warm up before a run, but continues to work fine. If you don't warm it up sufficiently before running it will slip. There are a couple other simple procedures that I have been using lately and I have not "smoked" my...
Re: My first 1.5 60\' on pilots
The best part about drag racing is that you get a document for each run that shows what you have accomplished and where you can work to improve.....and what improvements do for your performance.
I was proud to drive Mikes car...and would have never asked him to...
Bolt on one of our NOS kits and WHAM....feel the instant asp kickin, thrown back in the seat, serious smile on the face acceleration. BTR Nitrous systems are without a doubt, the most horsepower you can gain for your investment dollar. The best part is that when not in use, no wear and tear on...
Jeff,
Around 80 hp is all you can count on "dry" without adding fuel, and depending on the fuel demands of the supercharger, you may not be able to generate that much without a lean condition.
A/F ratio is everything with nitrous. We set it up rich (10.0-11.0) as the effects of ram air...
Re: MASH\'S APEX 550 STROKER
The shame of the whole thing is that Intake Extrude Honing has never made more than a 7 hp gain! (that I have seen or documented)
Best of luck to all parties concerned.

Hello,
The side bar is removable and that is approved by the NHRA and the scca I believe. The sidebar is not intrusive on the left arm when driving as it hugs close to the concave section inside the drivers door.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
Tom
Joseph,
The cuts are different between the RT and the GTS. The gts has a carpeted section that bolts to the rear upper console that helps conceal the cuts.
The RT does not have this part. You can if careful, cut the plastic of an RT so that it will bend around the bar and make a perfect...
Sweeeeeeeeeeet! And you can see through the rear view mirror!
No problem running in the 10's now. Nice low 11's that you posted on the timeslips forum.
Tom
Tony,
Damn, and I thought we could get into an argument..LOL
I also have used the little brass valves before on Buick GN's....they are foolproof, but not fancy.
Tom
Adjust on the fly controller mounts in the flightdeck and allows for controlling boost while driving.
Not your typical brass or plastic $ 3.00 item.
Tom
Great news!
The survival thing is in your bloodline.......it still amazes me when I remember the pictures of your run in with the tractor trailer!
Best wishes!
Tom
Just a test and tune.........everyone was a winner.
Lots of cars.....as for Vipers, myself and Mike S (Mike99acr)were running. Chuck was there along with a few others. Lee Saunders came with his Neon SRT-4 with our new BTR exhaust system and Boost control.
Times were;
My best was...
Mike,
I got to disagree with you on a few items;
1. Gas weights about 6.7 lbs per gallon, and more important than the full tank for weight transfer is the fact that the liquid in the tank wants to climb the back of the tank during acceleration. Noting the mounting location for the fuel sump...
Roof,
I will be in NY the weekend of 25-26 but will be home from Tuesday on..........maybe renting Speedworld Dragway (as suggested on another recent thread) would be a great venue for getting that 9 out of your ride.
Im in for any day that week except Monday the 27th as I will be traveling...
Thanks for the plug Max and Roof!
The track conditions play a major role in your e.t., and if you are racing at Moroso, it usually has decent traction.
Try a few simple things;
1. Rear tire pressure at about 23 psi
2. Front tire pressure at 29-35 psi
3. Full tank of gas (weight behind the...
I have rented Speedworld before, its a good deal if you have 5 or 6 cars and you get lots of runs.
We will be at Bradenton tomorrow night........you should be able to get your fill of runs there if you come.
