Fuelmans text was exact! With regards to "top speed". The NHRA rule book is written with only 1/4 mile racing in mind....to them top speed is ones speed at the end of the 1/4 mile. From my personal experience, racing at gainesville since 1980, they are more concerned about the "can see" items...- Tom Welch

Viper Club of America ran a regional VCA event at Gainesville a few years back and they were VERY liberal with the rules. I'm sure that Helmets and the other basic items will be required. 10 and 9 second cars will be looked at a bit closer, but we were running 140+ mph at that event without...- Tom Welch

2003 Viper V10 Nationals DVD Review
David, Having made a 45 minute Video myself, I can say that it is not easy and you don't make much money on them...if any at all due to the production cost vs. quantity ordered vs. quantity sold.
