    This happened to my 2001 GTS, apparently it is from the fiberglass, for me it happened while the car was outside under a car cover in the summer heat. had to have the car fiberglass resealed and then repainted. I have avoided keeping car outside with a cover, only use a cover while in the garage...

    I had a similar noise....turned out to be the front hub nut was loose, they do not use a cotter pin to prevent from loosening?

    Jeezzz! You make it sound like you are going to be driving a Lada!!! Even if you do break down a lot of the parts you need are probably on the shelf of a local Chrysler dealer to get you back on the road. 80,000 miles is okay if it has been maintained. Enjoy the drive! :eater:

    Wow that sounds good to me! I pay $570 and $580 for mine but that is only for 6 months! $71 each to keep comprehensive on them for the other 6 months. I am with Trafalger

    Safety Recall on 03 & 04 Snakes

    If I am not the original owner of the car will I be notified? Does this include all 2003-4 models regardless of who the current owner is? When the part is available is the onus on the current owner to request this recall? Thanks in advance for any further info. :dunno:

    Unfortunately I had to replace mine because of a leaking weatherstrip. Here in Ontario, Canada we have a company called Apple Auto Glass, they only charged $500 for my 04 windshield. Not sure if you have them in the states......
