94 Viper Paint Changed from Viper Red to Orange over the summer and tiny paint blisters everywhere

My 94 Viper RT (garage kept) not only developed tiny blisters all over in the paint but the Viper Red has changed to an orange color. I have had this Viper for decades and it has never been repainted. Anyone have any idea what may have caused this?

the tiny blisters are normal. fiberglass thing. Assuming you mean the very small blisters that you cant see unless you get really close.

Orange is strange, maybe you're due for a paint correction?

Factory paint? Felt the need to expand my thought, had the car been painted prior to your ownership. This is the first fiberglass car I have ever owned, not sure how paint holds up long term on fiberglass composite compared to metal or other composites.

My mom's 94 has the similar tiny blisters. I think it's just the fiberglass off-gassing over many many years, so as others have said, it's typical for the car. Annoying, but I don't think there's much you can do about it other than repaint if it bothers you a lot.

This happened to my 2001 GTS, apparently it is from the fiberglass, for me it happened while the car was outside under a car cover in the summer heat. had to have the car fiberglass resealed and then repainted. I have avoided keeping car outside with a cover, only use a cover while in the garage going forward.

This happened to my Emerald Pearl '94. A paint manufacturer said the chemical added to the clear coat is failing, so the clear layer detaches, bubbles and flakes off. Then exposing the color layer to the sun and atmosphere makes it change color. My green went in a gray direction.
