    car running sluggish, help.

    My car had a similar problem, it would not turn more than 3000 RPM without coughing and backfiring, it was a plugged cat! As a quick test you could pull the spark plug wires on one bank, if you pick the bank without the plugged cat it will run worse or not at all. Good luck

    On my 2004 Viper that I bought in the states and drove back to Canada, it was just a software fix by the dealer so that the fog lights are on all the time, (except when the parking brake is on). Check that out before installing separate running lights.

    My local Sunoco station has switched to a shell which has only 91 Octane, I have heard conflicting advice on which is best for my stock 04. Has anyone dyno'd their car with the 2 octanes to see if there is a performance difference?

    can any viper drive silky smooth at low revs ??

    I found if I let the RPM drop below 1200 in second gear it will buck, so I just avoid that scenario, feathering the clutch also helps, but I would rather just drop down to first gear

    Yes, the nut is tight, the wiper stops in the right position. I try to avoid driving in the rain, but it is annoying when I do get caught.... I don't know if the passenger side travels too far, but that side is not an issue if it travels too far???

    Thanks for the reply, but the wiper is in the proper position at rest.....it appears (to me anyways) that the arm under the nut holding the wiper arm is too long causing an 110 degree arc instead of a desired 95 degree sweep. The part# on the wiper arm is the correct Viper part#???

    SRT front license plate mount

    In Canada it's the law to have a front license plate, I bought my Viper in the states without one. The Chrysler dealer here charged me $90.00 for one, I later found out a neon plate holder would work too.

    All is well with my new viper now, once again thanks for all the suggestions. I have replaced the offending cat, added new plugs and front wheel bearings, front end alignment and rear tires. Now I have got to learn how to drive it, its scary fast after driving a minivan for the past 20 years...

I also have to replace the rear tires and the front wheel bearings before I can certify it; which I need to get the plates here in Ontario, these extra bills on top of the purchase...
