New Viper owner

Hi VCA, I am a new Viper owner I bought a 2008 "Smurf Edition" vert from '99 R/T 10' (Mike)about 4 weeks ago. Love the car. I have been reading a lot of threads lately and it seems like there is a lot of great info here. Any other members here from upstate NY? I live in Syracuse, and Vipers are definately a rare sight.

I certainly know where Cicero is and Skaneateles is just a beautiful area, love it there.
You may be looking for a Viper Tech in/near Syracuse? I don't know of any that close. You bought the Viper from Mike, so it was transported to you? TOTALLY ENJOY! Maybe we'll be able to meet up at some point this summer, we only have Sundays.

Yea Skaneateles is a nice place to take a cruise out to in the viper, and they have a lot of great restuarants too. I will be headed that way tommarow if the weather is nice. I didn't have the car shipped, I flew out to Atlanta, met up with Mike and then drove the car 980 miles home with the top down all the way I got some good color.

Oh, AWESOME that you drove the Viper home!!!! You were lucky to hit top-down all the way! We had a 2005 and a 2008 Viper Vert (2005 Black-Mods, 2008 GTS Blue w/silver stripes), but prefer the coupe. The people I'd suggest for Viper Tech would be 1) Chuck Tator/Tator's Garage 1-914-763-3136, South Salem, NY, 2 hours from us, so maybe 4 hours for you? 2) Daniel Lesser/Viper Specialty (his username on here), Amherst/Buffalo region. Chuck is not known as being the Viper Wizard for nothing~!!! Enjoy your drive tomorrow if not rained out~!

Smurf blue ------ well then baby you gotta be the new Poppa Smurf of Syracuse!!!

Who's your Daddy -------------why that would be big Daddy Smurf. Cracking up , as never really thought of the Bright Blue as that color, but good sense of humor on your part. I frankly think this is one of the better colors ever done, and it has been overlooked only because so few Dealers have seen it. In the sun it really pops, and for us oldsters it is very close to some of the blues of the 60s.

Enjoy, and congrats......................looks like there are more and more folks in middle and Western New York getting Snakes!!
