The hinge is okay. The door has dropped slightly so that is chirps like a bird going down the road. I was hoping to follow this short procedure:
close the door over a couple of tongue depressors or paint stirrers,
mark the hinges,
loosen and retighten.
Will this work for a small...
Re: Love my new Wheels! pics
Casey you didn't tell me that the new rims were chromed. Damn Sharp. Dhat'car aint no sleeper now.
:) Three silly ass questions:
1. Did you know that car's "XTRA HP?"
2. Who championed' the net on your hoop?
3. Did Vipers exsist in 1929?
Re: The bastard didn\'t have insurance
How long can you wait to drive your Viper? If you can avoid repair under your collision policy your better off. A claim is a claim and insurance doesn't like to pay out.
State Farm has an unwritten, "three strikes in two year policy" which leads to...
No body knows.
Your in a hackers world.
Try rapping a string around the pulleys and go to the auto supply store with knowledgable staff.
7 rib belts are rare to begin with. Let us known how you did.
I've tried Gen2 injectors on a Gen1. They don't help much without remapping. Can the Gen1 injectors be remapped to fix the lean condition on a mod'ed motor? Gen2 motors run rich with out the cats. Would that help a Gen1?
As, Tim Allen would say, “MANLY day.”
Indiana/Kentucky managed to get sixteen cars on the same DynoJet.
Why the freek does my Viper run LEAN.
Again, Why do Vipers run RICH if you remove the catalytic convectors?
Then after discussing combustion theory, a stop in LaPorte, IN for the annual...
~ Running a on a DynoJet with a somewhat cool engine (NOT HOT) ~
Are there any hints on how the bring the Dyno reading up to your cars fullest potential? I've heard that strapping down the car and tire pressure will effect the readings. Well, let's effect them to our advantage.
~ Hints Please ~
Jay,
You’ve got to make it a point to tell Lisa, of SpikeTV, about all the DC exec’s that lurk
around here. How information was gathered, from members at vca.viperclub.org, for Viper
improvements and with some extra push, made it into production with the SRT-10. And
finally, how information...

AutoWeek\'s Solstice Article
I was reading the same stuff some fourteen years ago. Autoweeks' on-line archives don't go back quite that far, but my pre-OBD mind can feeblely recall all the Viper articles of the early 90's. Change the names Francois Castaing and Roy Sjoberg to Mark Reuss and...
I bought two sets of racer dollies, from Eastwood ($80 per pair), for the first winter storage. Now, nine years later, this product is on sale at Menards. For $30 a pair, you will get a better paint that wont rust as easily.
I bought the dollies so that I could move the parked car around...
I use wheel dollies to get the tires off concrete during winter hibernation. The concaved shape protects the tires from the dreaded flat spots. I just push the car up next to the wall to get it out of the way for three months.
Today, I came across my 1992 sales Viper brochure. It is still in the envelope that Chrysler mail it dated June 1992. The pages crackle when I open it and some are stuck together near the binding. Does anyone have an idea on how to loosen things up before the shinny ink sticks to the wrong page?
Look to the left. The car in this "drawing" a show winner and has beautiful pearl yellow paint with silver rocker panels.
I just checked, An expanded view of my avatars is not available. E-mail me if you'd like a jpeg e-mailed.
Re: It\'s on its way Arrow.....now work your magic!!!!
Don I followed your procedure. I didn't get a list of fixes, but the crank was new. New Crank means, just about, new everything. Some claim their motors come back stronger. I could not feel a power difference. The rebuild does idle a...
