Vipers in California from out of state?
I believe all 2001s are CA smog certified. There should be a sticker/label indicating such on the driver side under the hood on the top firewall area.- LTHL VPR

Ack!! I just got my 1998 GTS and noticed something...
Not only are they plastic, but there is no pin to hold the rod in place that goes through the plastic. My gas pedal has fallen off 3-4 times on my 2001 ACR. Can we say....not safe. I have been waiting several weeks for a new one and I am almost scared to drive mine in the meantime.....- LTHL VPR

I think they are both great systems w/ good designs! I do not think you will find a noticeable/significant power difference between the 2, especially on your 2001. I have a Yellow 2001 ACR that comes with yellow lettering for hood and rear bumper area. Dodge makes silver lettering for the bumper and chrome for the hood area.
