Yes, Valentine Research...pretty crazy. They only sell via web or phone...and they are requiring me to do the wire tranfer or no deal. I think I am going to purchase some Escort 9500i Detectors instead.
They called me and left a message...I called them back. They said they have had a lot of fraud lately, and since I ordered additional parts (so I could move the detectors between multiple cars), I need to wire them the money. I don't get it, my bill to/ship to is the same, and my card is not...
I placed an order for two Valentine 1 radar detectors and some spare parts so I could use them in my other vehicles. They called me this morning and asked me to wire transfer the money...WTF.
They said they have never recieved an order from me so I need to wire them the money...about 1K...
Thanks,
That was a picture a few hundred miles after I had it put back together. They are Mopar headers, and they were ceramic coated and bead polished. They are guaranteed to 1400 degrees, as they have two coatings; a base coat and then the ceramic. The first finish didn't do so well as the...
Don't know if you ever saw this, but it is my Ram SRT's engine that JMB helped me with. JMB does killer work.
Edit---They Powder Coated the Valve Covers, Intake, Hard Radiator Pipes (they also made these), and their own design for the Air filter and Oil Catch Can.
I have been pretty fortunate. I got a pretty good discount off my 05 in 06, I paid full sticker for my SSG 08, but I got 6K off my ACR. I try not to do the final math...cuz that means I paid 93K for a car you are looking at buying for 70K...ouch.
DO IT.:drive:
I had 3M installed elsewhere. That is the typical preference of most installers I have encountered. I actually had a place say they could not do the ACR as they were afraid of the front end....:omg:
Nice look Detlef.
The film only reduces light output by 10%. I thought it would match the missing driving lights...as many thought I had already darkened the driving lights.
Well I needed to have the car covered in clear bra and thought I would see how the Lamin-X tinted film looked on my striped ACR. I have yet to see it in the direct sun, but I think it looks pretty good. The Lamin-X is much thicker than the clear bra, and since it might see rock hits at higher...
You know as well as I do that it has been an unusal and extremely dry winter, but look at the Colorado Viper Club Schedule...nothing real until May...give me a break, what happened to the rest of the year. I need to live in a place where I can drive what I want basically when I want. I will be...
Don't even worry about my ACR...I am taking it to Texas next week, it will not be returning to Colorado. I will be moving all my cars over the next few months...I am out of the ice box and into the fire.
I agree, I will have the baddest ass car in the food stamp line, as I am sure we are going to turn them into drive-thrus...:2tu:
I have bought four cars in the last six months (08 ACR, 08 Jeep SRT, 08 Ford F450, and 08 Audi RS4)...I'm doing my part in this economy.
I usually do my own changes...only problem was my Copphead was on the top of the lift, and I needed to change the oil sooner than later. I was getting some quotes on clear bra, so I went for my oil change too. Weather was turning sour later in the day (snow about 2 inches last night) so I...
I am pretty sure things are OK. Spoke with Woodhouse this morning and they said it is not unusual to see some metal in the first change as the new block will have some shavings in it no matter how hard they try to clean it. Engine is running fine (just like my other 08) so I am not that...
