Harris Hill is a blast. I was just there on Friday in my Audi RS4. I had the stock tires screaming for mercy. I was so bummed when I was leaving the track...I finally figured out how to completely disable the traction control (car only has 1300 miles on it so I am a newbie owner). Driving the...
Sorry it will be the south Austin area, although I did get my ACR in Grapevine while I was in South Austin last year (October). I might be at the Texas round up with some friends though.
The ACR is currently holding its own price wise. If you do ever want to sell you should at least consider that. It might be a crime to not take the car the track for road racing festivals, but I am sure there are some ACRs that will never see a track at all.
Exactly how fast do you plan on...
Oh and to answer the post on the Cooperhead comment. I paid what it was worth since Dodge decided to make a limited production run at 300. Not a very limited number, since the "limited number" (300) is more than they made of the popular SSG (not a "limited number"). The Cooperhead is worth 40K+...
Crap...I have all four seasons. I would glady trade four seasons for one or two seasons (summer or fall like). I hate seasoning my Viper. I would be happy to sell my trickle chargers on eBay. Excellent Viper and gorgeous views...:2tu:
I got mine from a Chrysler exec (he also has a Viper)...he said he was thinking about me when he saw a couple. I have not seen them at dealers. Even our club was offering one as a prize at an event, so they were and are a little hard to come by.
This is my concern. If...and lucky I mean only if, I need to sell one of mine , I am then forced to compete with Dodge. As you can see their pricing effects the used car pricing, cuz who in their right mind is going to buy a used version of a car they can buy new for a few grand more. Hence...
I agree and disagree all at the same time. I would definitely keep the stock wheels and tires for track use, but I am considering a second set of wheels for my ACR as well. The Sport Cups are very low on tread...so stay away from water. A street rim and tire set-up would certainly be the smart...
Re: Zero Interest Loans, More Discounts, IN EFFECT
I am not saying they are not low enough. I was not sure if it was a rebated price or a fixed price. I have already seen many Viper for invoice, I was confused about the EP. Glad to see the incentive is not a rebate to get the cars down to...
It's obvious whom you are complaining about. I could be jobless...do you claim to know me? Do you want to buy my Cooperhead at a premium...I'd love to sell it to you personally.
You only care about those you think deserve a fair price (those that have more should be punished I...
Re: Zero Interest Loans, More Discounts, IN EFFECT
Yes...that's saying that the dealer is still making all their money on the car. Take out some if not all their profit and the deal could be:
Example:
MSRP $101750 Loaded = $90238 EP - up front profit (dealer keeps holdback + any other...
So they are now officially killing the Viper's value. Thank God I also have an ACR. But that leaves me with two other Vipers that are taking a huge dive (I know a car is not an investment). Dodge please, please, please stop producing the Viper. We don't want worthless cars...even if they mean...
Well the desire is still there...lets take mine out and see how the public reacts, many people know what they are looking at (even though there are so few of them). I had a 2001 ACR, and you would really have to know what to look for in that year to see the difference between the ACR and the...
Which means it will cool back down in Colorado...:dunno:
We have had 60+ degree weather all week...now it is gonna snow on Friday, but it should be warm today.
Sounds like the car is actually new...Dodge is screwing current owners. Why do they have so many of these cars (and I mean these "show cars" with no miles and no use, just huge discounts)?
Something is very fishy...
Agreed...wouldn't have been able to purchase either car had I not acted when and to the extent I did. It is the future I am thinking about. Will there be a Viper in production; will there be a dealer to service it. I say no on the Viper, but maybe on Dodge (scary). It is just my hypothesis based...
I paid full sticker for the SSG (ouch...but some paid more), but got the ACR for 99K (7K off the sticker). There was a Venom Red ACR with that tan interior I could have stoled, but I just didn't want that color combo. I never bought the cars for investment...I just can't believe they don't...
