I have a Gen III vert (now wife's car) and a couple Gen IV Coupes. The Gen III has Corsa Track cat-back exhaust and Green Filters only. The Gen III throttle response is noticably different, both on accel and decel. When you get off the pedal the car unsettles quickly, whereas the Gen IV is...
Offended...not even close. Cuz I bought my pumpkin on October 31st...top that. And it's an ACR which means that even if it had an off color tan top it would still be King of the Ring. :poke:
BTW here is my 1996 Rustang...sold but not forgotten...see a theme.
Kind of weird but as a kid my dad worked for Fiat Motors of North America. He was a traveling parts rep, until Fiat pulled out of the US. I guess I am a little bitter with Fiat as my pops lost his job when they left the US after years of hard work and being away from the family on the road...
I think it is the best looking color on any car to date. That is why I had to have it. And that is why I paid MSRP to get it in March of last year (still kicking myself).
Where this really sucks is...how do you show love to Chuck and to Chrysler at the same time. I am extremely disappointed in the actions of Chrysler...I think I am done with them.
Chrysler speaking, "Please support us dealers...take more inventory we need your help, you can count on us...
The 06 was a flop because the coupe had been missing from the Viper line since the GTS was killed in 2002. Even after that long a period it was not a sell out in its debut year (see 2009 ZR1 sales and current prices - even in this economy)...sales were so sluggish that they went to work on a new...
"Areas of value" if you sold CAAP for $10 million...maybe. How in the world could the Viper be profitable with the sales so low, and prices to match? 08-09 sales needed to recoup the costs of the re-engineering of the car (or make money to pay for future revisions). How many 08-09 have been...
The problem is there aren't enough of us buying them...period. The 2006 Viper Coupe was a flop...and that was the returning year for the coupe after a three year hiatus. They didn't make any in 2007 then returned in 08 to a poor market. It was dying before the market collapse.
Look, I am a car...
Flame suit on....
Sometimes I feel like the only person who gets it...but if the 2008-2009 Viper line was selling so poorly that they had to offer incentives out the arse, then what can continuing the operation accomplish. If the "new" viper is going to be a 60K super car, then I give up. The...
I say no way on Colorado...because I am moving to Buda, TX this Saturday. If you do have it in Colorado be prepared for some slow Vipers. Altitude is a HP killer.
