I wore mine to a burgers and cars thing a couple of months back. There was only 2 or 3 Vettes there - kind of a surprise, I know. But I guess 1 of the vette guys saw me shirt and was all pissed off. He told all of his friends he was going to tell me I had to take it off. He never said a word...
I honestly hate Car and Driver. It created a pretty long argument at work today between me and a Mustang owner in a discussion about the SRT-10 vs Corvette Z06. Car and Driver apparently has the 2010 Viper listed as 500hp, running the 1/4 in 12.5, with the Z06 running an 11.7.
Mine are cracked also and I have an extended warranty, do we just go to the dealership we bought the car from and they know what to do? I don't think mine has a viper tech :-/
Ya, they sold it on base for a 'discounted' price at the gas station. The guy actually walked over and without asking sprayed some on my car. I fell for the gimmick, the stuff really feels really smooth when it is first put on and wiped off. It looks like it is going to be some amazing epic...
Stay away!!! I fell for that scam last year, spent almost 200 on a bunch of their stuff. Lucky I tried it on my daily driver first. the wheel stuff completely destroyed thefinish. The stuff for the interior dried the plastic out. I don't even want to get into what it did for my paint, but it was...
There aren't many shops in our area that you can trust Jeff. I used America's Tire for a little bit, but they would always over rev my mustang, and they tried to give me a $500 viper tax for some tires.
Some of the dealerships are just as bad, they took it for a test drive after doing a smog...
The note under the windshield isn't that strange. People have left them under mine in a few of my cars and I take it as a compliment. Only weird part will be if he IS a VCA member and sees this thread, lol.
Royal Purple killed my TR-3650 within 2 months of using. I talked to Tremec and apparently it is because the oil is actually too slick. It made it so it wouldn't grip gears correctly or something.
It is kinda embarrassing. People come for a ride, and when my window is going up or down at the half way mark I need to either push it down or pull on it about an inch up to get it to catch again. Hate driving what is suppose to be a high quality car and hearing something about my car is 'ghetto'.
Mine broke 2 weeks after I got mine over a year ago. I've been just ignoring it hoping a recall or real fix comes along. Found replacement regulators for around $500, but seems like a huge waste if it is just going to break again. I bought a $3500 extended warranty when I got my Viper, but...
