I pretty much daily drive mine. If it is raining out when I'm leaving the house I take a backup car, but if I'm out and it is raining, it isn't a big deal and I can get home safely, easily. I try not to drive in the rain so my car looks freshly waxed all the time, not because it is hard to...
I've wasted about $15k on my mustang trying to add little bolts ons here and there for power. Now I'm sitting at 400hp NA, wanting more. I could of used it on a decent supercharger and built engine and had it in the 600-700hp range.
Not making that mistake on my Viper. If you want power...
All this stuff worries me.
I brought my car in to get the regulator changed out, and he instructed me to 'bring a friend so I can get a ride home, it will take literally all day, no need to sit around waiting, it may even take 2 days'. I got back in the car and drove off.
Won't be able to read the magazine till I get back. Chances are I'm barely going to have much internet access where I'm going. Plus holding off on buying a raffle ticket till I find out whether or not I'm getting a paycheck or if this government shutdown BS is going to last long.
Aww, Oh well. I'll join when I get back from my deployment, suppose to leave May 17th, who knows when I'll actually get back. No point in setting it up now and not getting to use it.
I'll try to get him to sweeten the deal up. I was thinking I'd at least swap shifters and tires. Don't wanna have to buy tires again, and refuse to drive a viper on run flats.
Only Vipers I've seen so far in my area has been mine and Mutts02GTS. I like it that way.
I have a Mustang also for a grocery getter, and I hate that no matter where I park, there seems to be another 1 somewhere in the parking lot.
I'm also forced to see 2 Corvettes that seem to always...
Was talking to a guy and considering a trade. It would be my 2006 First Edition and 25k miles for a 2005 Mamba, silver ( if that matters? ) with 9k miles on it. Not sure of the mods on the Mamba. I have the MGW short shifter, nitto Invos and eibach lowering kit on my 2006.
Loving it. A friend of mine from my last duty station was all pro vette anti Viper. I only had my mustang back then, but he would always talk about how any vette will beat it's viper 'equal'... sending him this link as we talk. Hopefully he'll bring his vette to California so I can show him...
If you don't require a front plate, other states can't give you a ticket for it. I have a car registered in New Mexico with no cats or front plate driving in California. Cops just look at it and sigh.
I still haven't even unpacked my front plate mount. I keep it with the plate in the trunk though. If ever asked I'm just gonna play stupid and say I thought it was an extra back plate or something since there isn't any normal spot to put a plate on a Viper's front bumper.
For hydration, keep a water bottle wedged between yourself and the center. There is a spot for an ash tray, you can remove it and buy something to put in there that will convert it into a cup holder though.
The car isn't as hard to drive as some will say. I jumped from a 400hp Mustang to an...
I'm still trying to think of 1, all the good ones are taken in California. All I could think of so far that isn't taken is U R LSNG. Someone already has U R LOSNG though. So I feel like if I get it without the O, I lost.
