+1. No offence but I don't think anyone would let a stranger drive their Viper :-P. Passenger probably( I have a concealed weapons permit ) but Driver, more than likely not.
I have the same problem. It is a cool looking car, but now when I look at it, it just looks like a standard car to me. But when I look at any other car now, they look kind of like junk compared to what I'm use to seeing. I wonder how Jay Leno feels.
Luckily it is more likely to happen in Our favor. When people see a Corvette, they are looking at the 16th or 17th corvette they've seen that DAY. When they look at a Viper, they are more than likely seeing their first, or their first in a real long time.
When you keep looking at the same...
Same. Every once in a while I find some of the mods I bought for my DD Mustang and start working on that car again. I think I'm down to 5 mods left then done with my 400 hp DD. After that it is time to start buying the viper mods. Hopefully I'll have more motivation and they won't sit around...
Blue w/ white stripes has been proven again and again to be the fastest color scheme for vipers... thought this debate was over a long time ago? And for the yellow people calling their car 'lemons', I won't disagree. It is for sure a defective color.
:-)
I still need to get mine taken care of. This fix did it for my passenger side, but my driver's side when it gets about half way up it seems to slide off the motor or something and I need to manually lift the window about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch then the button will do the rest fine.
You are gonna have fun going through the gate for the first time in it, that is for sure. My very first time through all the gate guards stopped what they were doing and started to point and whisper amongst themselves in awe.
The guy checking my ID was an E-3 and all he could say was "Really...
I have a 2006 and the clutch feels like I'm stomping on butter. But I'm also use to daily driving a 400hp 02 mustang GT with a cable clutch and built transmission with a stage 3 clutch.
I bought the car off him through a dealership (unknowingly). I wanted a black 1, but a FE works too. If you buy a black 1 and want this 1 for some reason, willing to trade if similiar mileage.
Hmm, trying to find out. The dealership told me it was clear and good to go, never any problems. Then I found out later on the dealership didn't even own the vehicle, they knew I wanted 1 so looked on google.com for 1, found a private seller in San Jose and asked if they could sell it for him...
Driver's side if I put it all the way down, will only get about half way up then the motor just makes a clicking noise. I have to manually pull it up about half an inch then it will continue with the button. Also it doesn't automatically go down when I open the door, so I have to leave it down...
