I’ve been happy with the Continental Extreme Contacts. 335/30 and 275/35. Agree 285 would have been nice for the front, but the 275 is ok. Gen 2 vs. Gen 5 GTS
Love my ‘99 ACR and it’s been lightly modified like you mention, full Belanger exhaust, gears, Gen 3 brakes, and a dyno tune. Absolutely bullet proof and a riot to drive. Insurance question
Hagerty, $816 on $75k for 1999 ACR in Nashville. Been using Hagerty for years. Never had a claim but used the roadside a couple time for an old SUV - great service and no “gotcha” fees. They coordinated a local flatbed and took care of everything.- MarkL

Where to get 335/30r18 tires mounted
I had the same issue on my ‘99 ACR. Ordered from Tire Rack for install at Discount Tire. Their system threw a flag and said not permitted. They got a manager to override it when the actually started to look at the specs. I showed them continental’s website that showed the tire was made...- MarkL

Belanger header and motor mounts
You'll have good access to the mounts with the headers out. You might need to mess with the mounts regardless to center the header collectors through the hole so it’ll be good to have them handy. My research took me to getting new OEM gaskets. Good luck with the install!- MarkL
