So where can a guy find Viper patches now a days? My race suit needs a face lift and I would like to add a few Viper logo's on it?:dunno:
Mods if this is in the wrong forum sorry:D
Ok Ok Ok!:lmao:
I will take my HD Camera to the Dyno tomorrow and record it for all to hear. I will warn you though recordings are never the same as in real person.
Personal opinion:
It is a little louder but not at idle. After 3k it is what I call louder but not obnoxious at all and near...
I took her out last night for a spin and to get some gas. It actually has a better tone now at idle after it heats up! Very deep rumble. When I get on it though....WOW :2tu:
I would expect it to be a little leaner in the upper RPM range? I might be wrong but since I would rather not find out the hard way at the track I better adjust the tune if its needed. There is a shop about 15minutes away I tune it at with the Vec3. Will let you know if anything needed changing...
Well it was time..the cats needed to find a new home:D Why...Probably because I just get bored if im not working on my car! Here are a few pics. Got an appointment this friday at the dyno to tune it up. The car sounds a little louder but not much. Im not sure what everyones fuss is about no...
Your correct there is no problem as long as you have a long enough trailer. The trunk extends farther past the rear wheels than the front of the car on a vert. Thats why its a problem on a short trailer. Yes the viper is well balanced sitting on all legs but thats not the same when trailering...
Re: Update on Tail Of The Dragon (U.S.129) Closure
Im trying to work it out! I may only be able to do Fri/Sat this year and leave at sunrise Sunday morning. My daughter has a dance recital Sunday evening. Working on this one!:2tu:
Yes pull forward onto the trailer. You will regret not having more weight on the tongue of the trailer. Another way to get the back end lower to the ground is slide a coule 2x8 under the tow vehicles back wheels. This gets the a$$ of the truck up and the back of the trailer down. I have done...
Do a search in your area for race car trailer rentals. There is a place near me that rents a low profile trailer for a good price. They have both an enclosed and a open they rent. I bet somebody besides U-haul would rent it. If you were closer you could use mine.
Actually I think the Po'sha driver paid Leslie 50 bucks to know what it felt like to pass a Viper? So she put the car in neutral and I pulled on the emergency brake :lmao:
Those are perrrrrty Rotors! I can attest they work very well too...as I recall my eyes stretching out of socket as you braked at the end of the straight:D Love the pics and what a great weekend even with the cold.:2tu:
Leslie or Allen If you want that Video in True HighDef 960P let me know and I can put it on a memory stick and mail it to you. The conversion thats above realy took the detail out but then again some of the video was well over a 2Gig in size:D so uploading it would have taken all week;)
We had a discussion over the weekend at the track about brake ducts. I thought I had seen some on SnakeOyle web site but I believe I was mistaken. Does anyone make them for the Gen3/4 that take the air right up to the rotor?:dunno:
Thanks Leslie
Here is a Video of the Young Leslie schooling (I mean respectfully passing) some porsches and near the end you see Allen in the 06 Striped coupe fly by! My stupid memory card ran out of space! The rest of that run would have been so awesome because Allen and Leslie were tearing...
Here is some photo's from my install. The Autoform rollbar is slick! You will be able to run with it at most any track. It stiffens the frame a little to or so Im told? Installation is not for the faint at heart as you will be cutting some of your viper:D.
