Yea I was literaly in the middle of adding photo's to this thread when Adam Facebooked me a link to the thread he started:lmao::lmao:. Were a couple of redneck geeks!!
The job took all day. The engine mounts are a royal PIA!!
Well I went to visit the King of Viper mechanics this saturday. Adam or AB on the boards, he is the one that sells the impressive spark plug wires for our snakes. Anyway the IN/KY club is privledged to have someone close enough that we can trust to work on our cars. I have become a bit of a...
I will shoot some photos later of the Autoform Top on my car. It is in my opnion a better looking Top and is SCCA approved. The dblr bubble roll on the top realy adds to the lines of the car and makes the car look great. :2tu:
Can anyone tell me what the width on the comp coupe stripes are? Width in between at the front splitter and the width of the stripes at the splitter? Then the width at the rear of the car both in between the stripes and the stripes themselves? At the roof line would be helpful also but im...
I will be up Friday! Maybe even get some passanger seat time with the Friday run group. Im signed up today at the comfort Inn. They only had couple rooms left when I called, guess I shouldnt have procrastinated on that one:D but got a room! That roster is huge!! I hope we get some good track...
Car looks breathtaking!!! I love it!:2tu:
If you plan to track the car the ARP splitter tends to flex a lot. They look sweet but I removed mine as it just couldn't handel 140+ It needed more front anchors. Just my experience anyway and not trying to take from the excitment you have in the car...
I didnt take any photo's but next time I take the seat out i will snap a few photo's. :2tu:. PM me if you want my number and I can describe better what I did.
Well I would be in the intermediate group. I always like an instructor for the first session out at minimum and then again when I get frustrated:D I will put in that I would like you as an instructor if you dont mind and if that doesnt work out I know the porsche instructors are good. I had one...
Im off Friday??? Whats the requirements for running Friday? Im not an instructor.
If allowed I could get up there and at least run some and if not I could do the tech inspection and watch I guess.
So when are you all arriving? Friday night or Saturday morning? Can we get a tech inspection friday eve if we do come the night before? I havn't booked at the hotel yet (where is everyone staying)? Im very excited!
Do they provide or rent transponders? :dunno:
Yea Gen III has the belt on the chair. I was able to fix the 2" seat kit with very little issue and simple ingenuity. I used a cold steel 1/4 plate 17" long by 3" wide with 3/8 x 1" grade 8 bolts. The plate uses the OEM anchors to hold it down. Any way I feel It is well over engineered on the...
I bought this Mityvac system and have used it for a few things but this was my first at using it on the brakes to flush. So here is my question, is it normal to see it drawing brake fliud out slowly while getting air from around the bleeder screw? The instructions says it is but I want to be...
Yea be sure to do a computer reset. Disconnect the power at the battery or at the fuse box where the Red jump post is. Let it sit without power for a minute or two and then reconnect. Computer resets and re-learns the next 100 miles. Then good to go. Again dont expect power gains as much as...
Thanks I will dig it back out of storage and take a look! I understand the safety aspect but considering the seat is just that a seat and not holding me back in the event of a crash im not too worried (I take the risk entirely). I just want it secured solid, low to the ground and all back.
Yea Mark J. mentioned doing that too but my problem isn't as much the legs (thats some issue) but it is my arm is too bent when turning on the track. when I turn my elbow will hit hit the console or nearly hit it. I dont believe I have ape arms or anthing and im only 6ft tall. Just not happy...
I have searched threads reguarding the 2" seat lowering kit. I have one I installed over a year ago and the height is perfect. The problem is that it leaves you pushed forward and leaning back. Now I am determined to figure a way to get this seat all the way back. I figure before I start though...
