We did it in matt and it looked awful:confused:. Then did it to match the stripe and that looked perfect. Semigloss wouldnt have made any difference in the paint shops opinion.;)
Well I need to report on the performance of the X-Wing. Spent nearly 6-7hours open lapping at Mid-Ohio last thursday (even overheated my diff). The wing is truly as hard core as it looks. The back of the car wasn't just planted it was glued! My back tire temps were up almost 3psi over...
You can access the screws that hold the latch in place behind your seat. Just move the seat forward and tilt the back out of the way. Next pop off the plastic cover where the race harness attaches and reach insde to find the bolts. They can get loose. I remember mine were loose just after I...
Hey Matt!
It was great meeting you also. Don't forget to shoot me an email about those brackets. Happy to send them out to you all.
I have been using schlomers 75-90w in there. I havnt tried any others, thats one of the ones unitrax told me to go with (ill try the lucas next fill). It was...
Ok Im seeing the intake line (to the pump) and how its attached at the diff. but I dont see a return line to the diff? My Diff has two holes on the bottom a side hole (im guessing thats where the return line would go) and a top fill hole? Of your system setup what was the hardest part of the...
Well it looks like I overheated my differential fluid yesterday at the track:mad: (and I have a quaife) It burped all over. Not a ton of fluid but enough to have me freaking out until I saw what had happened. Didn't see it until I was putting the car on the trailer. I was putting the heat down...
Ohh its more than just a bolt on :lmao: You will be cutting out two areas of the back wall behind the seats etc. Drilling holes into the frame etc. It's not what I would call a simple bolt on job. It becomes a true part of the frame when its installed.
Ohh its a good process to do but mainly time consuming. The hoops are not roll over protection and most tracks will require the ones below or a hard top. These are the Autoform ones.
So sorry to hear all the PAI issues and then to get a scratch on the spolier! Man thats a bad day. So sorry.
I sent you a PM with my number if you need any info or help. There is some grinding to be done (I used a dremel). Any nicks on the bar can be touched up and you would be the only one to...
Love it!! What a fun and im sure stressful project at times. There is something about building your own that you just cann't get if you purchase off the line. Thanks for posting all the pictures! Great info!:2tu: Love the brake ducts!!
Got all the correct parts from Viper Race HQ as promised:2tu::2tu:
Dan the thanks for the tip and yes it had to be ground some but no biggie. Also the rear was correct but was missing the sleeve and that needed a bit of drilling to slip into the sway bar. Car is back off the Lift and a true...
Thanks Jon!
Rear is correct but needed a sleeve for the bolt. VRHQ is sending the correct front and also the rear sleeve! Thanks for the quick and fast correction! :2tu::2tu::2tu:
Hey Mark thanks for replying. I do NOT have an adjutable sway bar. Here is a picture of what I recieved. I just don't know how these are to work? Is this what I need. All im trying to do is equalize pre-load.
Anyone have a photo of these installed on an 03+ car? I got some from Jon B. and im not sure I recieved the right ones? Alignment shop gets the car this thursday and I need to have the right parts for him to put on and corner weight the car again. He is closed now so (Sat eve).
Thanks
Anyone know what FONT is used for the Viper SRT-10 Logo or the SRT abbreviation? Search function gives me zip.
Or what is close? Trying to get some decals made up in similar font.
Thanks in advance
