Its with the (PCA) Porsche Club. Great time and fun. More V-10's the better!!! We work this out we might get a real Snake Pit at the track this year :2tu:
I will try and get a link to there website or the registry site for you. I have to sign up myself.
Thanks:2tu: that gives me some idea of what kind of weight there is. Not something im looking to do unless I turn this car into a track car only.
Saying that though I hardly ever drive the car but on track anymore. It's just boring for me on the street, I don't need the thumbs up, stares...
Just putting this out there because im curious but does anyone know how big a task it is to remove the A/C unit and all its stuff on a GenIII.
Second how much weight is saved by doing this?
I never liked the GenIII rear diff. Upgrade to a quaife for some real planted power to the ground. Do an alignment though first and see if that helps get you planted better.
My understanding is the room is identical between both cars. Interior dimensions didnt change. Im 6"1 and 245+/- I use the 2"seat lowering kit and I retro an extra way to get the seat back farther with the kit. Im very happy with the setup and no head smacking on top with helmet. 6'4" would be...
I find it typical when running the car in cold weather for the gear box to be sticky/sluggish. After a warm up its fine.
You might see if you can get a Hooters girl to warm up your shifter "use your imagination"......:lmao:
Wouldn't recomend tracking hard without one. Not worth the risk. If your new to the track and don't have any long banking turns where your going then you will probably be ok and not at much risk of oil starvation. Saying that all that, if you can afford the upgrade DO IT! At minimum run 11...
Anyone here run track/race with a cool suit? My wife got me the club/race system for christmas and im realy looking forward to using it. Anyway, what I want to know is should I just install an on/off toggle or install a control switch that would increase/decrease the flow of water? I'm thinking...
I have the Autoform top(not that one)! Love it! I feel it looks way better than one above IMO. Autoform puts the coupes double bubble design on top instead of the smooth roof. Realy adds to the look of the car. Fit and Finish were great! Anyway as far as tops go Im a firm believer in the...
Since I am striping my car this winter (silver also) I have done some similar ideas. I just don't like one stripe on the silver. I don't know why. The slate gray would be the best of the above in my book. Im going with double stripes and tapering them like the comp coupe style but not as wide...
Can I just say "Aston Marton"---Wooped! Neat car but OMG 180K puke! I tell you what, watching this show is truly giving me a new appreciation for the engineers at Dodge! Seriously 125K 150K 180K 250K and not a one can beat the ACR? I get the self indulgent feeling an owner probably gets by...
I have an 05 and at Mid-Ohio when I pulled back into the pits and stopped the fuse must have blown. Didn't find out until I went to restart the car and missed my next session out. After scrambling to figure it out I came accross two things. First my battery post was loose and two the fuse had...
I went with Chormoly one personaly. You can get lighter with the aluminum but I didnt want to risk it. Heel/Toe is way improved if you track the car.:2tu:
