Craig,
Still seems high but god bless them. My brother bought a 70 Hemi Challenger 3k mile survivor last year for a steal. It was sitting in some guys garage in NJ. It was recently written up in one of the major mags, the car is unreal. We have been involved in collecting Mopars for the...
I only wish I could have a product that I could act this way on, and still have people clamoring for. Lets assume that I tried this same tactic in my line of work I would be bounced out so quick it would make my head spin!
The key here is communication. Most people are very reasonable...
I agree, the old logo is lame and kind of goofy. As any true Mopar fan knows a cartoonish logo would never fly on a true muscle car. What were they thinking when they made such a marketing blunder. A cartoon character on a muscle car, what is this world coming to! (please detect gobs of sarcasm)
I wax (Zaino) the wheels real good then when I get home I get the air compressor going and blast the dust away with the air nozzle. As long as you have a good coat of polish on them the dust flies right off. I guess its a right of passage for the ACR owners.
Guys I just went through this exercise and I decided on a Poly-Urea floor. It is sprayed directly over the concrete and leaves a thick coating which is very durable. The end result is a similar look to a sprayed on bedliner for pickup truck.
I checked out the Reacedeck floor and while it did...
Serpent Indiana,
I think you are saying that so we all lower our prices on our cars and you can scoop them up
Lets see....you have a great track record dealing in Mopars for the last 30 years and now you have stockpiled 2 ACR's!! Somethings fishy (no cuda pun intended).
I must admit I do not know what the sticker price was on that Daytona in 1969 but I do know it was a relatively expensive car. I also do not think our Vipers today will have the same exclusivity of that particular car.
Having said that, and being involved in several Mopar restorations and...
DC168,
I would not make a decsion based on color. I would recommend going to the best mechanical car (year)that you could get than make a color choice in that range. I would look for an 01 or better so that you can also take advantage of the ABS brakes which is a big enhancement. There...
mrmenuck,
Have you used the Gojack brand? I like the idea of having the jack built in so I dont have to jack up the car first at each wheel then slide the dolly under. I would just think having them both together would be really convienient. At 200 bucks for 2 I would like to be sure they...
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with any products. I would think the challenge is to find one that would accomodate the wide wheels on the Viper. Dont think clearance would be an issue but I am unsure. I see the guys in my garage use them and they seem to work great for moving...
Nice House!! Even out in Connecticut it seems we have been over-run with turkeys lately. Guess we need more coyotes! Anyway looks like you have enough room in the backyard for a nice 1/4 mile strip! Best of luck.
rdustman,
I thought it was going to be moved to off topic, but I dont see it there. Whats the deal? i guess I am too new to understand the way this board works. Won't the people who posted on the first 2 threads continue to post? It dosent seem to make much sense to me? Guess I need more...
