I think Nine Ball is stating the obvious about your intent, I do not think he intended to be polite. These are open forums, however, you have nothing to add and do not like the G5 so why don't you go where you are wanted.
No, but, do you have the pn for the acr adapter
. That failure in the thread must be common. My replacement adapter had more wall thickness at the fitting.
Tony:
not funny, but, I had the identical experience, bad adapter and nicked the hose. Do we have a for-sure picture of the acr adapter. I have a couple of adapters sitting on my shelf and they are different, one could be an acr adapter?
Do a search, I did a write up on installing the Gen 4 seats in my 97. I am 200 lbs and 6', I think they are a huge upgrade, more comfortable and hold you in better. If I was taller or heavier, it might be a problem.
A solid mount does not give (bad and good) as much and does not allow the driveline to have as much unrestrained play. Wheel hop is better controlled by increasing rear shock rebound and adding some rear toe. Hard tires also can create some problems.
You can also turn on the high speed fan earlier and as noted remove the skip shift. You also may want to increase the idle rpm to 750. About the only performance tuning will be to add a little timing and remove some fuel over 5000.

The surround on the back of the car (mine is same color as car), have you taken one off yet. Do you know if there is a part number for that piece yet. I want to either buy a black version, a carbon fiber version or get mine painted?
Mark:
We have PeerBlock #2 amongst us. Ralph did call me and he picked up the carbon dissector on the way to the airport, we should hear from him very shortly.
She tried, the five stills do a very good job of showing the fundamentals of the front/rear reaction of the car, keep in mind these five pics are happening in less than 0.2 seconds. They are probably shot at 1/2000 of second and movies are much lower speed (usually 1/30th sec). The camera does...
My wife took some pictures of the G5 launching at the dragstrip. The pics were taken with a Canon EOS60. The camera was in sports mode set to take multiple high speed bursts. She was pretty lucky and caught the car stage, yellow, yellow and green. What is interesting is how long before the green...
As soon as the weather gets cool it will happen, keep in mind most these tests were done in relatively cool/dry weather. That gives the car a whole bunch more hp than hot/humid conditions. Most of these tests were not not done at a track, therefore, the "Launch" control might be somewhat workable.
